Dr. Sanford Todd Hamilton, MD

It’s unfortunate I have to write this review, but I feel like people need to know of my experience before seeing this Dr. I had two different surgeries with Dr Hamilton. A septoplasty and a vestibular repair a year a part. About 6-8 months after the second surgery, I started noticing a change in the structure of my nose. I made an appt to see Dr Hamilton to discuss this, and when we met, he was very rude to me and acted like he had never seen this happen in all his years and had absolutely no idea what happened. It was a terrible experience and he was very dismissive of me. He recommended I go see a plastic surgeon to figure out why the shape of my nose had changed because he couldn’t figure it out himself. I went to the plastic surgeon he referred me to, and they told me that I had bowing where too much of the septum was removed, causing it to cave in that spot. In turn, where it was bowing, it was pushing the cartilage outwards, on both sides, making my nose appear wider. You can see… the bowing from the front and side profiles of my nose as well as the cartilage pushing out. He then told me the only way to fix it is a rhinoplasty, to add more support in my nose where it had been weakened. The structure of my nose is permanently changed in a very negative way, and to get it back to looking like how it originally looked is a rhinoplasty that I would have to pay out my own pocket. I’ve never wanted a rhinoplasty in my life. I still don’t, but I hate how my nose looks now, and I actually liked my nose before my surgery with Dr Hamilton. Of course, no one ever wants this to happen to them, but if Dr Hamilton hadn’t treated me so poorly at our appt to address it, I wouldn’t be writing this negative review. I have never had a more negative experience with another Dr. I would not recommend him.

Dr Hamilton was very kind and helpful. Listened and didn’t hurry through the visit and his staff was very helpful and courteous.

Dr. Hamilton and Scott are great! I can get an appointment with Scott in one or 2 days and he can schedule surgery so you don't have to come back to see Dr. Hamilton until your pre-op. Staff is nice and friendly, would recommend to anyone!

Very personable. Took time to answer all my questions, even took time to explain things to my young son. The nursing staff was also very helpful in meeting our needs before and after surgery.

Awesome friendly staff! Scott and Dr. Hamilton are both very knowledgable and have excellent bed side manner. I would recommend this office to anyone!

Great doctor who actually listens.
