Dr. Jeffrey Brent Farb, PhD

Dr. Farb was referred to me by my PCP at the time. However, after several visits it was clear he was not the proper fit for me, though seemed to be a nice person, and I stopped going. It was my experience that each week I went in and poured out my heart, cried, and simply paid my bill. I personally was not provided with adequate tools or ways to cope with my feelings nor did any follow up take place from the prior visit, rather more wounds opened in the upcoming ones. The poor organization of my treatment plan left all the unearthed events unaddressed, which I was left with more anxiety than before. He often times let conversations go off task unrelated to my care and often he looked at the clock. As for me, I found it more beneficial having lunch with a trusted friend to work through some issues. In working with my new PCP, I’m in a much better place than ever before and life is happy again.

I saw him for one year. I did most of the talking. He never tried to give leading questions to help me get to the root of the problem. Went over the same issues time after time. He sat there most of the time & I talked. Also, I missed an appointment. I had written down the wrong date. He charged me $150.00 for missing the appointment. Never went back since after a year, no progress was being made.

Dr. Farb is currently working with my issues that had a devastating affect on me. I believe if someone is going to be of help to me, he will.

Have recommended friends and collegues to this Dr.

Doesn't matter what you need from him, you probably won't get it. Don't waist you time going to him. There are probably more empathetic doctors elsewhere.

Did not impress me at all nor was he helpful. I didn't feel comfortable with him and had anxiety going to him every time. I will not recommend him nor will I go to him anymore.

Very helpful at a painful time in my life. Will utilize Dr.Farb in the future as the need arises
