Dr. Jeffrey Scott Glaser, MD

I saw dr glaser 19 yrs ago and he performed radical prostatectomy for cancer ,found him to be very caring and compassionate. he walked me through each step with genuine concern. my cancer may be back now and I am seeing him again,i trust and like him very much.

Dr. Glaser is probably very good technically, but his bedside manner is rude, arrogant, and pompous. He made fun of the fact that I'm taking an herbal supplement, even though it was not for BPH. I had told him of some side effects from medication and he poo-pooed it because he had never heard of it happening. I also asked about the effect of different activities on the PSA results. He brushed that off as voo-doo, even though Johns Hopkins clearly identifies several activities that can artificially elevate PSA. BTW, I followed Johns Hopkins to a tee and dropped my PSA by 2 points. I'm seriously considering finding another Urologist, one who listens, not belittles.

This doctor is the most disgusting, obnoxious man. He was actually laughing at my husband when he was at his most vulnerable. I was shocked at his unprofessionalism.

I saw Dr Glaser years ago and he prescribed medication that I was ultimately allergic to and ended up in the hospital with anaphylactic shock. I was hospitalized for several days at a hospital he attended - BJC West at the time. I never received a phone call or check in from him even after I contacted his office after my release. I found him terribly unprofessional and unresponsive.

This man is brilliant! He saved my life. I had gone to so many urologists who had all told me my condition was hopeless. He was willing to try and now I am cancer free 5 years later. I cant say enough good things about him!!

When I ran out of refills for the treatment of BPH, I called to schedule an appointment with the Dr. Jeffery Glaser so that I could do a follow up visit and get a refill for my prescription. Even though I was suffering from the symptoms of BPH and having difficulties, the office would not see any sooner than 30 days out even when I described my condition as serious and a medical emergency. They would not even try to fit me in and rudely suggested that I go to the emergency department at a hospital. There lack of professionalism and non-responsiveness to my calls and emails has prompted a formal complaint with the Missouri Dept of Health & Senior Services.

I highly recommend Dr. Glaser. Really knows his stuff and communicates his diagnosis and assessment when seeing you. Staff are friendly and provide great service to patients.

This doctor doesn't seem to care about the patient unless they have insurance. It is very sad because Dr. Glaser didn't use to be this way. I thought when you took an OATH to be a DOCTOR that you primary concern was to treat the patient?! I guess in his case, it is about the insurance. It is unfortunate because Dr. Jeffrey Glaser didn't use to be this way. I guess not all things get better with age. :(
