Dr. Jeffrey Goldstein, MD

Nice personality, but focused on making money. Other family doctors recommended a certain type of injections for pain relief. When we brought this to Dr. Goldstein, he recommended another type of injection (which other family doctors recommended against it). We felt, since he was an Ortho, and is an expert so we went ahead with it. It has been a few weeks without any relief. We found out later that the shot he recommended is highly lucrative for Doctors. I felt very disappointed since I asked about the other shot but he kept insisting on the highly profitable one.

Dr. Goldstein & his staff are truly caring people. I never wait longer than 10 minutes for the assistant or the doctor to come in.

When I first met Dr. Jeffrey Goldstein, I was surprised at how much he knew and by how many hip surgeries he had performed. Dr. Goldstein has performed re-do hip surgeries on people whose surgeries that have went bad. He also does the new way of doing the hip replacements by entering the hip from the front where there is less cutting, less pain and less recovery time. I found Dr. Goldstein to be very reassuring, calm, knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions. I usually have a lot of questions. After my first visit, I would call the medical assistant with tons of questions as they gave me a booklet to prepare for surgery. She always called me and answered all of my questions no matter how tiny or how complex my questions were. The day of surgery Dr. Goldstein visited me and was down to earth, calm and informative. He asked ME what hip I was getting replaced. Dr. Goldstein has a good sense of humor. After surgery, I was not in pain and Dr. Goldstein stopped by… to see me on two different days. He was upbeat and of course, answered my questions. The hospital experience was a good one. Overall, the surgery went great and I found Dr. Jeffrey Goldstein to be a top notch professional- extremely skilled, gentle and having a great bed side manner. I have had three post-opt visits and these have all went quite well. I was so worried about the pain and there was not that much pain. I believe that is due in part to the pain medication. I also believe that the surgery went so well as well as the healing process due at least in part to having a great surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Jeffrey Goldstein.

After a total hip replacement in 2003 everything was great. Begin experiencing some discomfort and went back to see original doctor and surgeon. He had referred me to Jeffrey. Met with Jeffrey went and through the procedures of Xrays and MRIs and determined that it was time to perform a revision. Jeffrey and and his Team were the most professional and worked through all the scheduling and pre op stuff. Following surgery (out of hospital in 23 hours) and a bit of Rehabilitation I was back to playing golf 3 months later and haven't felt this good in a couple years. KUDOS to Jeffrey and his team!

In September, 2017 I tripped over my 3-year-old grandchild and fractured my kneecap. I was rushed to the hospital and Dr. Jeffrey Goldstein operated on my kneecap the next day. Although I had no previous contact with him, I feel I was very lucky to have him on my case. It is now January 2018 and at my age, 78, I have had an excellent outcome from my surgery. I was immediately impressed by the genuine care and follow through given by Dr. Goldstein. I had just returned from a vacation to Jamaica and was experiencing problems with what I thought at the time, was due to excessive mosquito bites. Dr. Goldstein was able to take a look at X-rays and determined that there was a much more serious problem that involved an infection on the hardware from a previous knee replacement done back in 2003. He removed the infected piece and made sure that the infected area was clear enough to reinsert a new knee. Together we patiently waited for about 5 months until we saw our way clear to proceed with the replacement. During this entire time Dr. Goldstein was in excellent communication with me and maintained complete management of my care throughout the process. Had Dr. Goldstein perform 2 knee procedures. One a manipulation on a recently replaced knee and second a hardware removal on an old knee injury. I found Dr. Goldstein to be someone who listened to this patient, gave all the options for treatment and after treatment was administered, took great care of any issues or concerns. Great staff as well. No hesitation to recommend.
