Dr. Jeffrey A Goldstein, MD

Dr. Goldstein is a top notch GI doctor and is also wonderfully compassionate. Highly recommended.

This doctor does not listen well enough. His rectal examinations are unnecessarily painful. Do not let yourself remain with him. He never took tissue biopsies during any of my colonoscopies. Tissue biopsies are important and the importance has been know since 1995. He does not attend conferences regarding specific gastro chronic conditions. The office will not let a patient change to another doctor within the practice.

Dr. Goldstein took time to come to the hospital on a weekend at bedside to visit me, although he was not on call. He calls to report blood test by phone to me, send letters to make sure I am getting my blood tests and has treated me with the upmost of kindness and care. He takes the time to explain the medical diagnosis and offers timely advice to any question you have, especially if you are nervous about the condition and outcome. He is skilled, caring and there when you need him!!!

I was referred to this Dr. After a series of bad reaction to three different preps that put me in Emergency room. I called to schedule an appointment and Was told he would not even make an appointment until he had a copy of my records, and then the first appointment was four months out, but I was desperate! After he received my records, I was suddenly told he was no longer taking any new patients, or any patient who was looking for a second opinion or any sort of," transfer of care ", so if you didn't have the good fortune to see this doctor, or any of his partners as your very first GI Dr, you will be persona non grata to these Dr's don't waist all the time I did, trying to get your records transferred to this practice unless you have, NEVER SEEN ANY OTHER GI DR.! Why they are not honest with you upfront is a mystery? Why would you give people who are sick false hope, or waste their time if you don't plan on seeing them any way? This is disappointing business practice for any… professional, but for a physician it is appalling!

Thank you for your follow up and diligence. For returning your own phone calls. For creating an environment and quality of care that tells me you know what is happening with my health and you are intent on improving or maintaining my good health.

Dr. Goldstein gets 5 stars from me! My son has complained about the same life alterating symptoms for ten years. After experiencing inadequate investigative care and a rush to refer to him to see psychologists and prescribe anti-depression medications (which thank God he did not take), he was finally referred to Dr. Goldstein. Dr. Goldstein ordered all of the necessary scans and tests and within two weeks provided a preliminary diagnosis, which completely validated what my son had been saying all along. "Something is wrong with me. I don't feel good. I'm too young to feel bad all of the time." Thank you Dr. Goldstein -- you're the best! Signed, One grateful mom :-)

This doc doesn't wait for me to make an appointment after a test- he calls and gives me the results over the phone. I'm really impressed by this, and by his bed-side manner, which is also outstanding.

Dr. Goldstein is an excellent MD. I trust him and I recommend him. He is caring and personable. He talks to you as a human being, not as a medical specimen. He works with you to fix your medical issue. He has years of experience and is effective. He also returns my telephone calls promptly! Unheard of with my other MDs. He gives your samples of the meds to try first to avoid wasting your money on rx's. The best.

Really Glad to have him as my Gastro specialist. His years of experience are a definate plus, as he has seen simular cases. He is honest and will tell you what you need to know.

I was recently referred to Dr. Goldstein and he has been excellent. He returns phone calls, listens, and has a good bed side manner. I am impressed with him and highly recommend him!
