Dr. Jeffrey Michael Good, MD

Do not go to Dr. Good. He is rude and very arrogant. He delivered my daughter 29 years ago and I still remember every awful detail. He seemed completely disinterested in my labor , was inattentive/ bored with the progress . I ended up with emergency c section . At my first follow up he told me that the nurses didn’t like me ! What kind of a comment is that ? Such an arrogant man , he should not be a Dr , he does not care about his patients.

Rude and dismissive

11-17-95 my story....I was 17 at the time about 6 months pregnant with my baby girl went in for a check up on 11-16-95 they said everything looked great she is doing good...I left the office as usual and the next day arrived at school and the cramps began long story short..I arrive by ambulance at the hospital and I remember fetal monitors on me for a few hours I remember them saying they were losing her heartbeat...I don’t remember anything after that I woke up and she was gone idk what happened during my c-section but I know they knocked me out so I wouldn’t know...I wish back then I would have done my research maybe then my daughter would be here today...he is a horrible dr and I highly recommend finding a new dr please!!! Don’t let what happened to me happen to you and your family...he don’t belong practicing too many babies have died in his hands ?? our little angels ??

He caused the death of my daughter

35 years ago I delivered a baby with shoulder dystocia. Dr. Good had the nurses push on my stomach to push her out and it tore me from one end to the other. It took 35 stitches to close me up. The pressure was so bad, that it caused an aneurysm in my brain. My daughter died and he told me that she got stuck because I was fat. My previous child was also shoulder dystocia and that doctor eased her back in a little and moved out one shoulder at a time. The only reason I ended up with Dr. Good is that my previous doctor past away and my new insurance said I had to choose him. It took years of physical and mental therapy to get over the loss. He didn't care. Matter of fact when I was in the hospital room after the fact, he came in to tell me that he was going away for a few days and another doctor would take care of me. I don't know who the other doctor was and he never came in to check on me. The nurses are the ones who took care of me.

He is an awful doctor ,don't go to him especially if you want to enjoy your pregnancy experience

I had a great experience with Dr. Good I though he was one of the best obstetrician I have ever met and honestly I am a nurse and always had complicated feminine problems. He might be a little old school but if you pay attention and listen to him his advice works. Nonetheless I am very disappointed to see him retire and my child and delivery experience was great.

I went in complaining of a UTI. I had all of the symptoms..constant urination, pain.. etc. He ran some tests and failed to call me about my results or what I should do even though i told him I was in a lot of pain. I called him and he said to "wait three weeks and to start different birth control." I am no doctor but even I know that's bad advice. The pain started getting increasingly worse. I developed a fever and I could barely move so I went back. I would have saw a different doctor but he was the only one available. He sent me home with the pain killers but no antibiotic. He informed it was antibiotic but the pharmacy told me it would just treat the pain. I called up complaining because I had now had this infection for five days Dr. Good called me, gave me a lot of attitude, and still NO ANTIBIOTIC. This was on a thursday. Called friday- No antibiotic. Finally saturday, the doctors office was closed and I ended up in the worst pain of my entire life, I was in crippling… pain, shaking and couldn't stop crying. It had turned into a severe kidney infection and I had to be hospitalized. Excuse my language but this guy is the biggest moron on the planet and hes rude. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to spot a UTI he should have his license removed. When he comes in to examine you, he asks you know questions and doesn't even care what is wrong with you. Not to mention he was extremely late, fighting with the staff, and just completely unprofessional. He ran a pregnancy test on my urine ( Idk y) went into a room full of patients and said "run a pregnancy test on her urine." It was completely unprofessional. DO NOT GO TO HIM!

He was unprofessional in his approach and "over diagnosed" a condition I had - or rather 'did not have." He is someone I would never see again.

due to a settlement I can only give you a certain amount of info. During the birth of my son the gyno that was mine left the practice I was assigned dr. Good. He seemed rushed and uninformative and never sitting down to talk to me. I have negative blood and my husband has positive. I was never of potential complications because of this. All people with condition should receive a shot of rhogam to prevent being sensitized by the antigens that my blood produced. Dr good should have known a new standard was announced that all patients be given this shot earlier in the pregnancy. To complicate this matter more, dr good blew us off about the complications and a sec on pregnancy. Hence when we decided to have another child it was revealed to us by another dr. That our child would suffer major complications due to this. Even though my husband asked straight out does she need some kind of shot during my first pregnancy he was told it will be fine don't worry about it. My daughter suffered… headbleeds, deafness, cerebral palsy, autism, inability to walk, brain damage, seizures and many more problems. All because he was rushed and had to leave.dr good was never good at explaining this problem. Whe taking to dr's it was fully explained to us and asked why didn't he give us a full explanation. We weren't the only ones with problems with dr good. If you are a patient of him would suggest finding a new dr.
