Dr. Jeffrey Ian Greenstein, MD

Been with Dr. Greenstein 10 years wish I would have found him sooner. Dr. takes his time examining you, answers all questions thoroughly. I think if I would have gone to him sooner my MS wouldn't have gotten so bad.

I saw Dr. Greenstein for 5 years. Although my MS was stable, he convinced me to try a Biogen drug. I suffered a relapse in a few months. He wanted me to switch to a more aggressive therapy, I wanted to switch back to Betaseron. On my insistence, we did switch back. From 1995 to 2019, I never had a relapse with Betaseron. Please look at the research for Avonex. Betaseron is simply a more powerful interferon. So this doctor is busy trying to discover a cure which will make him rich and famous. He gets research money from Biogen, so he falls in line with them and pushes their product. This is not an independent thinker. Other neurologists I have had concur about the reputation I have just described. Be careful!

He is not associated with a hospital,which limits his ability to treat his patients. And it seems he is married to one drug company - biogen

I love Dr. Greenstein. He is the only MS specialist that I have seen that takes as much time as needed to answer patients questions and explain the pros and cons of treatment options.He is also the only neurologist that has provided any relieve for some of my 'Invisible Symptoms. I highly recommend him!

Gentle bedside manner. Has kept me stable for years. Appears to know every treatment angle and has a broad arsenal of treatments. He's my doc for life.
