Dr. Jeffrey William Groves, MD

To be fair and in the totality... Dr. Groves has been my family's neurology since 2008. I had a disappointing visit not long ago (the only one since 2008). I was upset. I was having a bad day; and perhaps the office did to. It is unfair of me to expect them to be anything other than I, myself, am --- human. Like I say, Dr. Groves has been my family's neurologist for nearly two decades. And, this sums up my review.

I get the impression that Dr Groves doesn't like talking to patients and makes me feel that what I'm going through is insignificant. After one of my office visits he referred me for an MRI, but then never followed up with me on the results. After a few days I called the office and was told he was now referring me for a lumbar puncture. I didn't get any explanation of what the MRI or lumbar puncture showed. It was difficult to get any information from his staff as well. The results were in my patient portal but I had questions that still haven't been addressed. He prescribed medication for me that was on my allergy list and through his staff I was told to talk to the pharmacist if I had questions. Even during appointments he doesn't say much and always tells me to make a follow up appointment with the PA which makes me feel my medical concerns are not important enough for him to address. After ending up in the ER a few days after the lumbar puncture I called to make an appointment to… follow up and ask questions so I could understand what had happened. I said it was urgent and that a phone call or tele visit would work but no amount of pleading got me anywhere other than being told to schedule an appointment - of course the first availability was several months out. I'm very disappointed and still have questions.

This was my first visit with Dr. Groves. Everyone was friendly, helpful, And knowledgeable. I really liked Dr. Groves and his staff. I would recommend this office to anyone who needed a neurologist. I am pleased with the service.

What a great experience I had with Dr Groves He was very professional and kind. He answered all my questions and did not seem rushed . His nurse was very caring, the staff was very friendly.

Dr seemed nice but very quite. Nurse and front desk was nice and friendly. Biggest complaint is, a test was run that was not covered by insurance. I was not told or warned about not being covered, or would have not had it done. The test is investigational and so no insurance will cover it. Doctors buy the machine as a money maker for the office. I had met all out of pocket on insurance and expected all visits and tests to be covered. As I am now disabled from cancer and can not pay extra for tests just so the dr can make more from a test that is not approved and is investigational. Now it has gone into collections.The visits did not find a solution to my issues. All I got was a bill and now it is in collections and on my credit report. I contacted another neurologist and found some of the issues causing my health issues. On first visit! Highly recommend you see someone else.

Had my first consultation with Dr. Groves last week. He thorough, took the time to ask follow up questions regarding the symptoms I was having, and find a solution. His staff is friendly and professional. Just a wonderful visit all the way around and after years of struggling with a few things, I am finally getting some relief from my symptoms. I'm very grateful for Dr. Groves help. Highly recommend seeing him for neurological issues to include migraines.

He is a good doctor, and was patient with me.

My husband had terminal brain cancer a few years ago, so we were seeing MANY doctors. We were referred to Dr. Groves by another one of the doctors we were already seeing. Big mistake. He showed no empathy or concern. We felt he was dismissive and arrogant. We never went back. The office kept trying to reschedule appointments after my husband passed away as well which added insult to injury. I was completely unimpressed with the entire office.

Great visit and very patient.

Dr Groves is very thorough, easy to talk to, and very responsive!
