After a General Practice Residency at the Sepulveda VA Hospital, he practiced general dentistry and taught at UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Javelet received his certificate in Endodontics from Loma Linda University after a 2-year post-doctoral program in 1983. He has been in private practice in La Jolla since 1983.
Dr. Javelet is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics since 1991, a member of the College of Diplomates and Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. He has lectured locally and internationally on various endodontic topics during his career. He currently serves on the Clinical Practice Committee of the American Association of Endodontists, the Specialty Peer Review Committee of the San Diego County Dental Society and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the UCSD Department of Family and Preventive Medicine.
