Dr. Jeffrey Mandume Kerina, MD

Dr Kerina has replaced both of my knees and is now treating me for tendinitis in my hip. He is an excellent doctor and surgeon and very caring!!

I had a lot of damage from an accident ten years ago that required several operations and a partial knee replacement.When the good side of the knee started hurting Dr. Karina recommended another partial knee on that side avoiding the trauma of a total knee replacement..I'm walking without help after two weeks ! Excellent Result and rapid healing.

I have no idea whether or not Dr. Karina is any good, but his support staff doesn't know what they're doing. The last fine example of this, and the nail in the coffin, was their sending me a bill for x-rays I didn't have. Their scheduling people are a nightmare. They cancelled my appointment without telling me. They informed me that the doctor would call my insurance company and then told me I couldn't possibly have been told that since he was too busy. Then they had the audacity to call and yell at me, insisting they hadn't cancelled without telling me. Now they won't call back when I try and get the bill straightened out. Totally, unbelievably inept.

Dr. Kerina , saved my life 30 years ago . I was only 15 at the time . I was the first patient he operated on just graduating medical school at Kings County Hospital . He has no idea , that I think of him from time to time. I remember him having to take a rod out my left femur but had to travel to Africa . I was so worried but he encouraged me to be strong and that it would be ok . The day after the surgery ( guess who calls me from Africa to check up on me ?) I will always be grateful to Dr. Kerina . Thank you !!!

Very pleased with both of my knee replacement surgeries but you don't see much of Dr. Kerina.

Amazing doctor

Dr.kerina Is a warm caring doctor and a brilliant mind.

Dr. Kerina is a personal thorough doctor who expertise in hip and knee surgery is superior. Though he now has discontinued hip surgery and is doing only knee replacements he is well qualified to do either. He uses only the best appliance and is accomodating to the patients needs.

I had a partial knee replacement by Dr. Kerina with fantastic results, and have recommended him to others. He is always very patient in answering questions. The office also coordinated my care with PT which is very important for maximum mobility. His assistant, Krista, is very helpful.

Highly recommend Dr. Kerina...He replaced my right knee and I totally trust his care...everything that was done both pre-operatively and post-operatively has been excellent
