Dr. Jeffrey Richard Maehl, MD

My mother had been going to this man for the past 4 years faithfully, spoke very highly of him, in his conduct and “care”. Appointments every 3 months, didn’t miss a beat, and I made sure she attended each one. my mother had complained about trouble swallowing amongst other things in 2021, it took this current year of 2022 for things to progress further for my mother to decide to go to froedert hospital for a diagnosis too find out she has stage 3 cancer currently, something that could of been found much sooner had dr. Maehl been more proactive in getting appropriate test done by being referred to the right people after my mother complained many times. Labs were done, and I see no reason why this was not found sooner before it got this far. Absolutely unacceptable for someone spoken so highly of in the medical community.

Dr. Maehl has been my Primary Care Doctor for several years. I experience him to be patient, thorough, sincerely caring, knowledgeable, respectful, and an all-around excellent doctor. He is a great listener and, when needed, he asks the right questions to draw information out of me. He is frank and caring and talks to me so that I can understand what he tells me. When I send him an email, he responds during office hours, on the same day. When I leave a message with his office, either he or his nurse returns my call, on the same day. He monitors reports of my visits with other doctors and is always knowledgeable of diagnoses and treatment plans developed by other doctors. I cannot think of anything that Dr. Maehl can do, to make me more pleased with having him as my Primary Care Doctor.

Very caring, he actually listens to you. I'm very happy to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Maehl is a caring, compassionate physician. He listens well and answers questions, and shows patience in explaining diagnoses. I feel I'm receiving excellent healthcare.

Dr. Maehl is what I consider to be a excellent doctor. He doesn't care about how you look he cares about how you feel. He is not a doctor that is quick to put you on medication and send you out the door. He is a doctor who actually cares.

Dr. Maehl is an awesome physician. Myself and 1 adult daughter have been patients of Dr. Maehl for more than 7 years and now another adult daughter & 13 grandson and now my mother have become patients of Dr. Maehl because how we feel and how he manages our care. He is a knowledgeable,caring,professional Christian family man. He believes & appreciates the gift God gave him and shows that to his patients. He delievers that in everyway. There's not many doctors who go out of their way to get up and call you early in the morning on a Sunday morning before Church or before vacation because he's really concerned about your health and to make sure all your questions are answered when you are in his office before you leave. It's because he cares about YOU. His philosophy is dead on and it shows "I receive satisfaction from caring for the entire family, from newborn to grandparents, and everyone in-between." Thank you Dr. Maehl, your great!!!!!!

Dr. Maehl is one of the most compassionate doctor's I have ever met! He truly cares about his patients and goes above and beyond for them. The only reason there is wait time in the office is because he spends as much time as needed with each of his patients which occasionally causes him to run behind schedule.
