Dr. Jeffrey Maher

Dr. Maher is a wonderful eye surgeon! As an OR RN, I have worked with several surgeons from many walks of life. I recommend my friends and family with cataracts or eye concerns to his practice often. You are in great hands with him!

I saw Dr. Mayer for Narrow Angles. He checked them and said I needed laser surgery to prevent angle closure. He explained to me why It was needed and gave me the options. Having worked in Ophthalmology for several years, I did understand my condition. He performed a laser Peripheral Iridotomy on one eye that same day. I returned 2 weeks later and had the other eye done. Two years out I am still doing well. My only complaint would be that the technician I had was going to dilate my eyes before my appt. even though I was there for Narrow Angles............that could have sent me into angle closure. Over all Dr. Mayer was excellent.

Poor excuse for a doctor and his assistant Peggy is even worse. Charged for appointment telling what he was going to do before half of the eye tests that he charged for had been ran. Literature about options wasn't provided until after that appointment either but was a joke anyway because he only does what HE wants and the patient has NO input into THEIR life and vision anyway. Refuses to even talk to patient......patient has to talk to his arrogant assistant who talks to him and then tells you what he said and of course knows nothing about your vision or your concerns. GO TO ANYBODY ELSE!
