Dr. Marcus is by far the best doctor my daughter has had the pleasure to be seen by. He is an amazing doctor and very personable! He’s kind and gentle with my daughter and when he’s in the room with us his total attention and focus is on us. He never makes us feel rushed and is very through in explaining all of the medical issues related to her condition. A huge plus as well is that he isn’t eager to push unnecessary surgeries as some surgeons do. Suffice to say this mother who is also a nurse is beyond pleased with the phenomenal care my daughter receives. This is evident in the fact that we willingly drive 9 hours round trip to see him. We pray he has no intentions of leaving Duke ever!

Dr. Marcus is nothing less than extraordinary! He is brilliant and meticulous. My son completely lost the left side of his face in a canine attack. Well Dr. Marcus and his team have slowly been rebuilding his face from nothing. We have been with him for over 2 years and will trust him for many more. Also his nurse Susan is FABULOUS! I love her.

Dr. Marcus is the most talented and caring doctor I have met in a long time. He was able to accomplish rebuilding my nose with my own cartilage as well as improve breathing difficulties I had developed. I went to several doctors who didn't show confidence in fixing the look of my nose as well as improve my breathing issue. I had an infection that ate away at the cartilage in my nose. Since the surgery my breathing improved right away and my nose looks beautiful and natural. I give Dr. Marcus 5 stars and would recommend him to anyone who is in need of plastic surgery. I went to Dr. Marcus for a secondary rhinoplasty. My first surgery had been performed by another doctor 20 years prior and I was unhappy with my results. I had consultations with several doctors but had not found one I was confident in until Dr. Marcus. His attention to detail and the time he took to explain his surgical plan put me at ease. My new nose is better than I ever could have imagined! He addressed my concerns and went above and beyond my expectations!

Dr. Marcus is kind, compassionate and works well with teens. Rhinoplasty on my daughter's nose before college was a complete success. One year on and her nose is enhanced and natural looking. Excellent experience all around.

All of the nurses and Dr. Jeffrey Marcus are angels on this earth! I cannot find the words or express enough how impressed I am by this AMAZING Doctor and his wonderful staff. Six weeks ago Dr. Marcus performed a functional rhinoplasty on me. I had a very severe deviated septum and nasal obstruction. My nose was extremely crooked and my septum was shaped like an "S". It was a pretty complex functional rhinoplasty. I am now able to breathe and my nose is amazingly straight! I chose Dr. Marcus because of his expertise in craniofacial surgery and the fact he truly cares about his patients and will take his time with you to make sure everything is right and explain everything he is doing. He is the most genuine Doctor I have ever had. My life is changed!

I suffered a traumatic injury to my face, jaw, and cheekbone requiring emergency surgery and insertion of numerous titanium plates and screws over a year ago. I was recommended to Dr. Marcus at Duke for follow up care 6 months later as I still experienced difficulty in jaw movement, some pain in the metal plates and an unsightly and wide 5 inch scar on my face. Not only did Dr. Marcus and his colleagues and staff, including his excellent nurses spend a considerable amount of time with me, they explained every option from both a cosmetic and functional standpoint, including the proper time for surgery. Dr. Marcus performed very complex surgery skillfully and carefully. Less than one month post surgery my jaw function was almost normal, the major scar has virtually disappeared and I now have a small bag of all of the plates, screws and metal bars that Dr. Marcus removed to prove to others that at one point, I had plates inside my jaw and face. He and his staff have always been… available to listen to me and view my progress and have arranged numerous post-op visits at my convenience when my only purpose was to "check in" and see how things were healing. Having plastic surgery on one's face is a stressful experience. The calm and caring confidence of Dr. Marcus and his staff made all the difference--both prior to my surgeries and post surgery. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

We were referred to Dr. Marcus by our pediatrician for a second opinion. His opinion was consistent with the first surgeon we saw, however Dr. Marcus' high level of expertise in the craniofacial field helped us to make the decision to choose him as the surgeon for our daughter. The experience was outstanding. The combination of Dr. Marcus and Duke Children's Hospital was amazing.
