I had bilateral hernia laparoscopic surgery a couple of months ago from Dr. Marks. No one knows what the surgeon will find once inside you. One of the hernias had a very large tear and he was skilled in fixing it. I'm very glad I had an experienced top notch surgeon and his team working on me. I have read some other postings about him. He's not a warm and fuzzy guy, although he is professional and tends to have an internal checklist he runs while talking to you initially- if you someone to be warm and fuzzy, go see a therapist who you can pay to be your friend. I could tell he was a good surgeon because he went through the surgical preop questions so mechanically, I knew he had all the steps down pat.
