Dr. Jeffrey Edward Martus, MD

DR. Martus is a world class surgeon that helped our daughter more than he knows. She was injured playing basketball in Middle School. I rushed her to the closest hospital at Williamson medical and the ortho wanted to send her home and see if her broken and dislocated arm just below the shoulder would heal better on its own. She was in agony. My wife and I couldn't believe it so we insisted on a 2nd opinion and had her transported to Vanderbilt late at night. Dr. MARTUS had several rounds of xrays to get the exact angle he wanted to make his diagnosis and after several hours determined that without a surgery she may not have full mobility in her shoulder if further growth was not substantial. He placed two pins and set the shoulder back in alignment. 3 months later she had full mobility after extensive rehab. Now beginning her junior year, she currently has 8 Division 1 college basketball offers. I don't know what else needs to be said. We are forever grateful to Dr. MARTUS.
