Jeff is the best joint replacement surgeon on the planet, PERIOD. Anyone who gives him less than 5 stars either has an ax to grind or is mentally ill. His skills are unparalleled, and for what it's worth, he is utterly compassionate and caring with a fabulous bedside manner. We're LUCKY to have such skills in a rural, small town yeahoo place like the Fox Valley - Jeff could easily be leading the team at Mass General or teaching at Harvard. Take the negative ratings for what they are - garbage. I am a high level professional with stunning credentials, an IQ of 185 and a once clinical systems manager who comes from a family of PhDs and MDs. Trust me - he is the absolute best anywhere. Jealousy = hatred, and there is a LOT of that intertwined in these imbecilic negative reviews. 3 knees done in my family - all PERFECT!! Enough said.

I just had my anterior hip done a few months ago, and can’t say enough great things about Dr., staff, and the operating room staff. Truly professional, caring, and excellent results.

I would love to share my experience with you. I should of ran when he patted my leg and said don't worry I do 9 of these knee replacements a day!! He did my knee replacement and screwed it up.. It was not in correct alignment, one leg was longer than the other one. Also it came unglued!!! Thus the start of ruining my life and almost dying. He has no bedside manner NONE! I also went on to get 3 staff bugs had them for total of 3 years! Was told I may have to have my leg fused so I could never bend it again or chance I may have to have it cut off!!!! Well ruined my whole life could not wake right my back got thrown off due to legs not being the same length now after losing my family, home and state job I have have been disabled all due to Dr. Jeffery McLaughlin's negligence!!! PLEASE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE AND SURGERY YOU HAVE HAVING DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY!! HE NEEDS TO RETIRE!!!!

I had a great experience with Dr. McLaughlin! His entire staff from the front desk, xray techs and nurses they were all very professional.

I would never recommend him! He has no bedside manner. No compassion and his aftercare after major surgery like hip replacement sucks. He sends his staff to do most of the aftercare. He spends very little time with he patient afterward. You feel like he has no time for you. He is very arrogant. Personally I feel he does what he does just to collect a paycheck. He sucks....stay away

Doesn't listen to patient, in a hurry to get out of the room, was particularly rude to us & offered no second opinion or helpful information at all regarding course of treatment for patients condition- which is what we waited a month & traveled several hours to see him for. If he wasn't remotely interested in helping, or educated enough in the specific condition to know how to help, he shouldn't have made us wait so long for a useless visit, been swiftly rude, & then left us hanging so to speak without any help or referral to someone who COULD help.

I had a wonderful outcome with my hip replacement. I would definitely recommend him, if you're thinking about a hip replacement!

Aside from being very well trained, I found Dr. McLaughlin to be most caring and kind. I am so glad I went to him!
