I have ADHD. It has effected me my entire life. I have well documented proof, in a diagnosis from VCU that was from the same year. Doctor McLeoud was not up to date at all about ADHD medications and was unaware there were nonstimulant medications that could be prescribed or that there are medications you can take on an as needed basis. He basically told me that "ADHD is a serious medical condition," (I knew this , it's affected me severely my entire life). He got visibly agitated and refused to prescribe me anything. Telling me, the person who for years even in high school had to pull all-nights to finish my homework and never finished tests or assignments on time that ADHD was a serious disability was just rude. He gave me no chance to explain how it had impacted my life and he judged me as if I only wanted it to pass a class. Please if you have a mental health concern save yourself the time and find a doctor who will show you respect.

Dr. McLeod is wonderful! He personally draws his own labs, then he personally calls you with the results and talks about what to do next. He actually LISTENS to his patients and is genuinely concerned with how you are feeling.

Dr. McLeod is a step back in time doctor. He spends time with patients, is always available and his staff is great ! We have been patients of his for 20 years and he is still the same as he was then!
