Dr. Jeffrey Scott Mimbs, DO

If you want a surgeon who will advocate for you and do a phenomenal job, pick Dr. Mimbs. His office staff is friendly, kind, and competent. Best care I’ve ever received!

Dr. Mimbs is the best as what he does. His care is thorough and skilled. I know an office staff can also make or break a good physician experience, and his staff are compassionate and competent. Highly recommend!

He is short, doesn’t explain anything, and spends 2 minutes with you after being in a waiting room 2 hours. I would not recommend his care. He has no empathy what so ever and should find a profession where caring for others isn’t at the forefront.

He helped our family make difficult decisions that had no good answer. We appreciated his manner in explaining our options and he spoke to us in a clear, business -like manner which was also appreciated.

Upon my consulting with Dr Mimb's I was encouraged to have a solution and a proper diagnosis. Instead, his "opinion"was personal and not professional. He answered questions with a rolling of eyes.Was rude, arrogant and extremely dismissive of me. Upon which I sought a second opinion. I am to do exactly the opposite of what Dr Mimb's said! I am very discourage by his nonprofessional practice of medicine.

I had two herniated discs pressing on the sciatic nerve. The pain was constant and truly unbearable! After surgery I awoke w/out pain and am thankful for Dr. Mimbs taking care of me. I do have issues with his office getting back to me after I leave messages or even talk to his scheduler. She seemed annoyed anytime I spoke with her, like I was a bother. Today I called to reschedule my appointment later this week and was told by another secretary that his scheduler (the one I bother) should have called me already to let me know the Dr. wasn't going to be in. Now my rescheduled appointment is 7 weeks away. Thankfully, it is just a follow up and I'm doing great. Getting into see him in a timely manner, especially while suffering, is difficult.

Had to wait an hour for the Dr. to arrive back from lunch after waiting more than 3 weeks to get an appointment. Dr. misread my chart and thought I was there for another body part..I had to correct him. His secretary is rude and evasive...I have called 4X since my appointment waiting for referrals she is supposed to be setting up and I have gotten vague answers, no referral appointments even with the intervention of my regular Dr.s nurse...she treated the nurse in the same way. I would not recommend this Dr. or his office to anyone.
