After graduation he attended Northern AZ University in Flagstaff, AZ. After a year, Dr. Mitchell interrupted his studies to serve a 2-year LDS church mission in Bulgaria. Upon completion, he returned to Flagstaff to complete his college education. While in Flagstaff, he met, fell in love with, and married his best friend Katie Brooks of Goodyear, AZ. Dr. Mitchell graduated with a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2002. He then attended Dental School at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in Denver, CO. Dr. Mitchell graduated with honors with his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree in 2007. He and his wife have 4 wonderful children, 2 girls and 2 boys. They provide more fun and excitement for them than they could have ever imagined.
Dr. Mitchell loves dentistry and the opportunity to serve in the …community where he lives. He is active in the community and volunteers his time for local sports programs as a coach of both swimming and soccer. His hobbies include spending time with his wife and children, bicycling, running, and swimming, and loves competing in triathlons. Dr. Mitchell also enjoys and believes in continuing education and strives to keep up to date with the latest information in dentistry. He is a member of the ADA and the AzDA.
