Dr. O'Connor is a graduate of the University of Michigan College of Engineering and the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed his urologic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Dr. O'Connor's interests include: urologic oncology, female urology, kidney stones, and general urology. He has special interests in robotic prostate surgery, minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, prostate disease, and surgery for incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse in women, including urinary tract neuro-modulation. Dr. O'Connor is part of the Michigan Urologic Institute, the urology practice of Dr. Raymond J. Winfield, Dr. James B. Smith, and Dr. Patrick M. Hurley.

Spent maybe 4 minutes in the office with me before scheduling surgery. Surgery was performed and he refered me to a different urologist who was better suited to treat me. Maybe if he asked questions and got to know what i was there for, he would know before surgery if he was competent enough to work on me. After surgery i was admitted to the hospital for pain complications. Not one time did i receive any type of pain medicine to relieve the damage he just did to me.

Noncaring attitude. If I could give a negative stars for overall rating, bedside manner and follow up I would. Did not know how or was unwilling to treat my problem. Luckily found a caring and knowledgeable urologist to help me.

my only complaint is that you had to wait so long in the office to see him. But he is worth the wait!
