Dr. Jeffrey Richard Parnell, MD

I was informed by another ophthalmologist that my retina issue was beyond his capabilities and I then searched for the best that I could find under my plan. Thank goodness that Dr. Parnell is part of the Advocate system. He was thorough, concise and explained the issues in great detail. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Parnell is an excellent doctor. He operated on my detached retina. Follow up was right on what I expected.

I found Dr. Parnell to be very clear and easy to understand in his diagnosis and ability to communicate my disorder. He fully explained my options and while there was a surgery that might help my problem he was quick to recommend waiting to see if my problem got worse or stayed the same. I liked him alot, he answered all of my questions, he was direct, up front and honest.

I went to Dr. Parnell for emergency treatment of a detached retina following a screw-up by the ophthamologist that had looked at my eye. Dr. Parnell was able to save some of my vision in that eye. He and his staff are very caring and take the time for proper treatment, to explain the situation, and to answer questions.
