Dr. Jeffrey Brewster Persons, MD

My mother went to see this doctor and came home crying and devastated. He made her feel like she wasn’t in pain when she injured her knee so badly to the point that she can’t walk on it and is using crutches. His PA told her that she would need invasive surgery and then the doctor came in and said he basically didn’t know why she was still on crutches. He was extremely rude to her and to make matters worse, answered a call from his stock broker and told him, “wait just a minute I’m almost done,” left the line open in the room with my mom while he abruptly told her to just come back in two weeks. I am APPALLED and this man and his treatment of my mom. Would definitely not recommend.

I have seen Dr. Persons for a long time due to hip pain which I've had for eight years. He insinuated it was due to depression which I did not have. He also remarked, "I have nothing more for you." I am currently under the care of a more competent orthopedic physician who is working to resolve this pain.

I would not recommend his services to any family nor friend....He may be biased....I was told by him that ,"My glass was half empty, " in my conversation about not foreseeing returning to my profession as a nurse. Thank God I have my mustard seed faith and although I can't use my fingers nor wrist like I'd hope at least I have my peace of mind knowing God must have other plans and makes ways out of no ways.

He performed emergency surgery on my wife. He did a great. His follow on appointments have nor gone so well. His office staff are rude and act like they are mad because they have a job. Dr Persons has been rude at times and has little compassion for his patients. I would never use him again as my doctor.

So far I am pleased with the care/service"of this orthopedic doctor and staff.They work with patients who are uninsured.......that's a tremendous blessing. I'd recommend his practice to anyone. Thank you again doc and office personnel.

Dr. Persons performed a repair on a torn meniscus on my left knee. I was up and walking in a day and it never gave me a bit of trouble. Highly recommended. Great surgeon who knows what he's doing.

Waited 2 hours for him to be rude and say he didn't really know what was going on. Makes you feel as your not really in pain and are making things up..I dont have insurance so i dont think im going to spend that kind of money on nothing. He definitely gives the impression that he could care less.

Excellent doctor.
