Dr. Samuel Doak Young, MD

Dr. Young was wonderful to work with. He is a very skilled and caring surgeon. The scar on my knee is almost invisible after only 9 weeks. And my recovery has been relatively fast without problems. I would recommend Dr. Young to all my friends.

I had a great experience with Dr. Young! His office is the perfect size and his staff is very friendly. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions and I feel like he actually cared if I caught better or not! I would recommend everyone go see Dr. Young for sports injuries

i've chosen dr young for all 4 of the surgeries that i have had as a result of playing sports at the college level. I highly recommend him to anyone in search of a surgeon! he spent well over the required amount of time with my mother and i while she asked him every question under the sun. He is patient, very well educated on statistics and what is popular among the specific types of surgeries, and overall my number one choice for a surgeon. However, his staff (specifically the receptionist) that i worked with during my visits/appointments/mri scheduling was much more unprofessional and absolutely and completely unreliable about returning my calls. Because of her disorganization and unreliability it took me over a month to get my MRI and during that month I was forced to call her office back at least 10 times and then call the imaging center multiple times as well. I recommend trying to get a hold of dr. young personally if you are able. Although my experience with his staff was less… than perfect, I still recommend Dr. Young as a surgeon. And hope that you can look past his receptionist and not let that be a reflection of his own professionalism.

I see Dr. Young at his new location on 210. He is wonderful! He takes time with me and treats me with respect. His office staff is friendly and they are always helpful when I call.
