Dr. Jeffrey Scott Quintana, MD

I had an appointment for an epidural shot in my back. He was funny, upbeat, made me comfortable, and was professional. All his staff that dealt with was very, very nice!

Quintana should not be in pain management because he doesn’t manage your pain. He’s too busy treating his patients like they are addicts. I have horrible chronic pain and have been on the same medication for 11years. It has worked so well. I was actually able to function. Then my pain management doctor retires and I’m told this quack Quintana will take over my care. He didn’t care that the meds I’ve been taking, actually controlled my pain. He was more interested in taking me off them! He actually told me he was surprised that lowering dosage was causing me more pain. He said usually patients say they are in less pain when they go off, or lower dosage!! Wait...WHAT? Someone needs to learn more about chronic pain. He’s an absolute joke who’s only in it for the money, not to help people. It’s sad!

Dr. Quintana is not managing pain. His placement next to the Orthopedic surgery center assures him of an endless supply of fresh clients without having to consider the clients wellbeing or pain level. He is able to administer the new standard of turning a blind eye to post surgical sub acute pain to comply with the new industry standard of not treating pain; now that they have created an opioid crisis. Dr. Quintana is brash and uncaring, and will cut your levels quickly without any care or consideration to pain level. I spent many days crying in pain with extremely elevated blood pressure and unable to sleep in pain. Pain shaming.....shame on you "Dr". Quintana.

He is a caring person and he listens to what you have to say and he is a very good doctor would not replace him for no one I have been coming to him for 8 years and the staff are very polite and very nice.

Non-empathetic, didn't care I brought proof and notes of all my ailments that I seek help with...somehow! geesh. he threw a lame prescription at me that I just said put me in peril then kicked me out. I just need a dr that listens and cares for goodness sake.

Has not done anything to relieve my chronic pain after failed back surgery. While performing diagnostic injections on me, he was paying more attention to his assistants flirting with them in the most unprofessional manner. I felt as I wasn't even his main concern. He doesn't like any other doctors prescribing meds and takes you off of them even if the helped. If I knew of any other pain mgmt Dr I could trust, I'd drop him in a second. Staff also seems "annoyed" when you approach them with a question.

I had been seeing him at a pain clinic. I asked where he was now in practice. They would not tell me. At the first visit he did a full workup. He took four personal visits to tweak my dose and only then he would let the nurse continue to prescribe the meds. He did a nerve burn on me and we were able to lower the dose. I felt badly when he left and no one would tell me where he went. I think that was wrong. Now that I know that he is still in pracatice I am going back to see him.

this clown is a joke and should not have a medical lic he has standards that are not realistic in todays world . i think the only reason he became a doctor was for money and he dose not care about his patients at all .

I would rate this doctor as the worst I have ever seen. What he says on his page and what he does are two different things. He could care less about the pain I am in. He is cocky and young and needs a lot of maturity to turn him into a good doctor. No. I would not send anyone to him.
