Dr Recknagel is a very super Dr. He is smiling all the time,sure puts you at ease. I would recommend him to anyone who needs surgery. He is an awesome Dr.

I was very happy to hear no surgery today and that we can try Cortizone shots first and see where that goes.. I woke up this morning with no pain for the first time in years!! I couldn’t be more excited I can go up and down stairs and it’s great!! Thank you Dr. Recknagel you’re a lifesaver!! ????

Dr J. Recknagel @ Orthopedic Associates of Muskegon was very thorough in his exam. He explained his findings, & treatment plan in an easy to understand manner. Highly recommend him for knee replacement. May 2023

Dr. Recknagel did rotator cuff surgery on me 12 years ago and I have never had any problems!!!

So many other things to deal with, surgery was not on the list. He was kind, caring professional and persuasive. I finally felt comfortable enough to schedule an appt. I haven't had the surgery yet, but an 82 y.o. friend of mine just had her shoulder replaced and he was gr8!

I just had my second total shoulder by Dr. Recknagel and I am totally satisfied with both surgeries. I had excellent care and outcome My rt. shoulder was done in 2015 and the left one 2018. I would highly recommend Dr. Recknagel! I am 79yrs. old.

Dr. Recknagel has replaced both my knees and my left hip and he is awesome -- extremely good surgeon, wonderful bedside manner, always smiling and makes you feel better knowing he is there. I wish I could have taken him to TX with me when I moved so he could do my shoulder. I trust him 150%. Very good staff as well.

Seen for bicep tear. He diagnosed it and is going to do surgery. I am happy with him to this point. Will rate again after the surgery.
