Dr. Jeffrey Lawrence Rose, MD

Dr. Rose contradicted himself repeatedly, most notably the recovery time and what was involved. His staff is slow to process anything or respond. DO NOT TRUST

He is the best Doctor for your Bariatric surgery. His follow ups are great and has a very good bedside manner. My results were the absolute best.

Dr. Rose is awesome! He explained my surgery in detail and even drew out pictures so I could understand what was going on with my body. He also gave me his cell number and either answered my calls every time or called back within the hour. He is really very nice and considerate and lets you bug him with incessant questions. I went back and forth about whether to get surgery or not several times (it was elective) and he was patient and understanding with me. His office dealt with my annoying HMO insurance company so I wouldn't have to. He also has an assistant named Steve who is so professional and helpful. If you're considering him as your surgeon, choose him!

I had a rough surgical experience with several complications, including excessive blood loss resulting in transfusion of 2 units of blood. Post op, a CT of the abdomen revealed "an accumulation of blood." During my stay in Critical Care Unit, Dr. Rose did not physically touch me. He started excusing the complications by saying that I was in a "compromised condition" prior to coming into surgery. I was not told this until after surgery. This was an elective surgery, so why did he go through with it if I was "compromised?" At my first post op visit, he again did not examine me or even get close to me. I had to ask for him to look at my incisions. Thinking back over the entire experience with this physician, I realized he had never physically examined me, even prior to surgery.
