Dr. Jeffrey Nathan Rottman, MD

Dr. Rottman is the nicest and most informative Dr. that i have ever been too. I totally agree with the 1st reviewer. He saved my life also. I feel safe and secure just knowing he is my doctor. He even took time to call me himself and make sure i was ok. I just love this Doctor. Would never go anywhere else.

I was referred to Dr. Rottman after having sustained a cardiac arrhythmia requiring correction. I was in the ICU for several days and this had been the first documented incidence of the occurrences that had been happening since I was 12 years old, and I was 40. The problem had been investigated and wrongly diagnosed throughout my life and since I had always had some degree of control, until this incident, in being able to halt the progression of the V-tach, it wasn't something requiring immediate attention in my opinion... Until this time. What started this one was when my baby kicked me in the chest as I rocked him to sleep and began the arrhythmia/V-tach. I was quite overweight from having been on a full bed rest pregnancy and did not have the lung capacity to take deep enough breaths to relax the muscles or whatever it was I'd done all my life before, so I couldn't stop it. I let it go on for over an hour before calling the paramedics which was when it was finally seen by someone in… the medical profession as it was happening. It had finally been documented! I learned that what my heart was doing was slipping into V-tach. After several days in the ICU and subsequent release, I was then recommended to Dr. Rottman and having already reviewed all of my case, he seemed to know exactly what was occurring. What was wonderful, is that from the moment I met him, I felt completely confident in his abilities, knowledge, kindness, and I trusted him. Fully. Which in my experiences previously with other diagnosis and doctors, this didn't usually come easily. It felt good. He told me that it could, and in all likelihood would be cured, if what he suspected to be the culprit, could be isolated and corrected. He suggested an Electrophysiology study to confirm his suspicions. I was reluctant to believe this "dream" could come true... Cured? Really? Therefore, I waited until now, 5.5 years later, to believe that it is... He did isolate the problem and recreate the occurrence during the electophysiology study and performed the necessary alterations at that time using a R.F. Ablation. My son is now 7 years old and it has not happened again. I have to say that Dr. Rottman is wonderful and I am greatly appreciative of his work and for the quality of life I am able to have thanks to his expertise. See... Since I had been a young girl, I couldn't do anything too strenuous because every time I would this would occur. Sometimes it would happen whenever I would bend over to put something on the ground, or something like that... So now, I can do so much more than I could, and I am so happy for his knowing what to look for, where to look, and how to fix the problem. I was so embarrassed in being different, I would make sure, throughout my life, that there was somewhere I could remove myself to, wherever I went, in the event this occurred, so I could use my "breathing technique" to stop it. It feels good not to have to do that. I must say, I recommend him with all my heart! =D
