Dr. Jeffrey Scott Schiffman, MD

Mr. Shi*man, yes, I spelled that correctly, is working for the insurance companies, and not the patients. Read the reviews. He's an arrogant individual. He will not read your medical history before your visit. Because why should he? He knows best (after a 20 minute eval, if you're 'lucky')! This person will snark at your every remark, not pay any attention to your pain or concerns, will discuss your medical history/ conditions within earshot of the general public, and not bat an eye when doing so. He will deny, deny, deny your validly documented complaints and injury (that multiple other docs have validated) to appease the insurance. He is, 100% getting kickbacks, from insurance companies and law firms! 100%! Beware of this conman. Do NOT consent to visit him. Do NOT consent to his evaluations. Do NOT consent to his treatment.

He says different from what he is putting on his reports.He thinks he is God and he determines your future .I am not an actress but that doesn’t mean I’m not in so much pain. You actually feel that pain when you’re using that injured part of you’re body at work..What does he know about working hard and using all parts of your body to make money? I know that God will always be on my side.Dr Jeffrey Shiffeman I hope that in the future you will not suffer the same fate like we do and I don’t wish this for anyone.Because of his decision work comp saying they overpay me for almost 7 thousand dollars which causing me sleepless nights.

Now I see why Sedgwick ( insurance co.) hires this quack to deny treatment by my pain doctor. I was hurt on the job and my pain management doc put in for MBB Medical branch block but this fraud denied his request. The fraud between this Schiffman and Sedgwick is complete corruption to the max. Disgusting and unethical how they treat a hard working injuried person that’s in severe pain and trying to live a normal life.

I injured my right shoulder at work over 16 months ago. My primary orthopedic surgeon diagnosed me with rotator cuff tendon torn. I had a surgery by a wonderful doctor who is not on the side of insurance companies. A year later the worker’s comp insurance sent me to Dr. Schiffman. This guy went against 4 other orthopedic surgeons reporting that my injury was a non-industry one, meaning my injury was not job related. The WC insurance cut my benefits and my medical treatment after over a year especially when this wonderful doctor knew my tendon was torn again in need of second surgery. Now I am left with a torn tendon, no job, no insurance, no medical treatment and a painful shoulder. I just have one question from this guy: when you were pledging your Hippocratic Oath as a medical physician, where was your conscious knowing that your fake report would stop a 64 years old person with a bad shoulder that needs another surgery? Were you there with me when my shoulder was injured? How did… you against opinion of 4 other doctors, not to mention that even my employer confirmed my injury as job related. How much defense lawyers and insurance companies pay you? Your family should be proud of you for taking side with insurance companies rather than your patients you made your Hippocratic Oath to. How much money worth to you in cutting medical treatment for a Lord Loving believer with serious pain and shoulder movement especially since I need the second surgery. Job well done Dr. Schiffman. But keep in mind that you may sell my health to insurance companies and defense lawyers but I know a person far above everyone whom you have to answer to and he is no one but “The Lord Jesus Christ”

He botched my father in laws hip surgery. The botched surgery left him with floppy foot and on constant pain meds for the rest of his life. Please don’t go to this Dr.

Very arrogant and rude. Greedy and uncaring. Stay far, far away from this doctor!

Morrill again. I wrote my review without seeing the other reviews. You would have to be a moron to go to this quack after reading these reviews. Except for the two I saw, we are ALL saying the same thing: MONSTER, money grubber, rude, insurance guy, bad surgeon, bad doctor in general. You've been warned!

He operated twice on my daughter. She was too young for the procedure, but he didn't tell us. Just wanted to make money, I guess. He ruined her knee. She's lucky she can walk. We tried to sue him but were too late, according to the lawyer. If you use him, you are INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope this review leads to his early retirement. How he is still in business, after reading these reviews, and seeing his rating, is beyond me. Please, if you u value yourself or your loved ones, stay as far away from this quack as you can. Run as fast and as far from this guy as you can. He permanently damaged my mother after hip replacement surgery.

Beware if you have a work related injury this is a fake doctor who submits fake medical reports he is the biggest mistake you'll make if you need treatment
