Dr Schlachter was thorough and quick to look for a solution

He was very rude and dismissive. Could care less about other doctors findings only cared about scheduling a colonoscopy.

I love seeing Schlachter! He always gets me in even on his lunch time when I am very sick. He makes sure I am treated and back on my feet quickly!

Dr. Schlachter was very prompt, to the point and answered all questions I had.

Dr has a great sense of humor and explains everything well. His bedside manner is excellent and I prefer him to do my exams.

he punctured my pancreas during a routine procedure, sent me home. When I returned to ER I was given mylanta and sent back home. Went to another hospital where I had emergency surgery and remained in intensive care a long time. Total hospital tay was 3 MONTHS!!! Do NOT recommend him!!!!

Dr. Schlachter is a terrific doctor. I'd had other internists before Dr. Schlachter, but none of them really listened to me. Dr. Schlachter was patient and thorough in his examination and diagnosis. I hope he sticks around to see me into my golden years.

I've had a similar experience to most here. He is very well versed in what he does but spends very little time trying to explain anything at all. Every time I have called after procedures to get more information, the nursing staff seems annoyed that I am calling. During office visits I'm frequently cut off mid sentence, rushed in and out the door, and get little to no eye contact from anyone here. I think he might be a better fit for someone with very basic GI concerns. I have multiple issues and after my symptoms continues and intensified after following all recommended forms of treatment, I was dismissed and told "it's probably nothing". I'm currently searching for a new GI doctor and would not recommend this doctor or his staff to anyone.

Dr. Schlachter gets right down to the important issue and takes prompt diagnostic action. He scheduled my X-rays and EGD within one week of my initial evaluation and had my problems resolved prior to going back to school. His office staff was courteous and efficient

I dont usually review any product or service about anything, but this review is well deserved!I think Dr. Schlachter is the best Doctor I have seen in a long time. He has a very efficient procedure of the everyday work load and yet gives the best care of anyone. I was quite surprised how easy it was to gain trust in his diagnosis and the accuracy was so correct. No other Doctor has ever given me the care that he has. His personal follow-up convinced me I was going to the right guy. He takes his job very seriously with the patience health as the number one goal.Also, I dont want to leave his team out of the picture. His whole staff is patient focused. Everyone I dealt with was just great!!!!
