Dr. Jeffrey Clark Schmidlein, MD

Have been seeing Jeff since 1988. I dont think you can find a better doctor in our area. He and his staff are always friendly and accomidating to any and all of my health needs.

I have much comfort in knowing Dr. Schmidlein is truly caring and very attentive to detail in analyzing all phases of my physical exam. He does not hesitating to give good advice and recommendations and most important, follow-up!

Jeffrey Schmidlein is eminently knowledgeable, patient, and compassionate. An astute observer, he reads his patients with skill and is able to engage with them in a manner that draws them out with easy conversation and an appropriate modicum of humor. Excellent practice.

You can't see him unless you are the rich and famous now. He thinks he is just too good for everyone and charges an arm and a leg for you to have the privilege just to be his doctor. It costs over $1500 to be his patient!! Where does he think he is Beverly Hills?? Same run down office with Rodeo Drive prices. You're not that good!!

First: the MA's are wonderful. The front office staff is uniformly rude, unhelpful, and unbearably snobby; the worst I've ever encountered. The waiting area is more like a day care center than a waiting area for adults. Loud toddlers to surly teens, this clinic has it all. I never once got the impression from Dr. Schmidlein that I was anything but an impediment to be gotten rid of. He was much more polite when my wife was present than when I saw him alone. He also made decisions about my medical care without explaining what he was doing or why; & I question many of the decisions he made regarding my care. This clinic & this Dr. were recommended to me. In retrospect I have no idea why. I could not, & most certainly WOULD NOT recommend this clinic to anyone.

Dr. Schmidlein is an excellent physician. I have been seeing him for more than two decades. I was referred to him by a specialist. He is personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. He gave me the most thorough physical I've ever had. He makes referrals to highly regarded specialists when needed. His office staff is professional but sometimes curt. I would recommend him to anyone. However there is one caveat -- Dr. Schmidlein is changing his practice to a "boutique" model. He will only have 500 patients and will be charging a yearly fee of more than $1,600.00. If you have the means, this is a great doctor. Unfortunately, I will be leaving him with regret.

Ive been seeing Dr. Schmidlein for years. He is an amazing doc who is friendly, knowledgable and accurate. His bedside manner is personable and courteous. His office staff is my only problem, they can be abrupt and considered rude on occasion. Their biller is wonderful and courteous, fixing any problems immediately. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Schmidlein is a cut above the rest! Not only is he a brilliant mind but he truly cares about his patients whether he is on call or not. There have been times I have had questions and he always makes the time to follow up w/ me in a very timely fashion. You can trust that Dr. Schmidlein is always making decisions that are based on sound ethics,medical facts, and a caring heart.
