Everything that he said would happen during recovery happened. Surgery for torn quad tendon was 100% successful.

Nearly six months ago I tripped over a concrete barrier in a parking garage and ruptured both of my quadriceps tendons. A physician friend recommended that I have the surgery to re-attach my tendons with Dr. Siegel and I am very pleased that I did. Dr. Siegel was thorough in his explanation of the procedure and skillful in his surgical repair. The combination of his excellent treatment and my physical therapy exercises have contributed to lessen the pain of my injury and minimize the scarring from the surgery. I thin line at the surgery site is now nearly invisible. I am so thankful that I chose Dr. Siegel and highly recommend him. He is an excellent surgeon and compassionate doctor. Melvyn Cornin, Ed.D.

I've been in constant pain for almost 4 weeks. Jumped all the hoops that was required before I was finally sent to his practice. He was Rude and condescending, suggested an other same course of medication, therapy, stenches and refused to administer a Cortisone injection since he doesn't believe in it. I've had that injection in the past and responded well to it. My pain is off the scale, dragging my feet from pain, yet he refused treatment on principal. Pain management appointment possible in 5 weeks! Unacceptable in my opinion.

I was seen by three insurance Drs who couldn't diagnose my very painful injury. I insisted on seeing Dr Siegel who immediately knew what was wrong. His knowledge and expertise of handling my injury was outstanding.

I really like Dr. Siegel. He was really thoughtful about my concerns, explained everything well, did the surgery which was successful and follow up just as pleasant as all the other appoint,Mets. Good guy, easy personality.

He has no sense of compassion and will not listen to anything you have to say.

Came in with MRI results for 3 areas - all areas have degenerative disease. Wanted understandable explanation for MRI results. He didn't want to bother going into details. I wanted direction as to what do I do from here? Didn't get much help there either! Dr offered little. Therapy, but dr was only addressing one issue in his therapy RX. He picked one issue and decided more than one would be impossible for therapists to address at the same time? Seriously? What if therapy exercises were directly affecting other problems in a negative way? My problems are worsening. I was extremely disappointed. Lack of compassion. I had to ask all the questions or I'd have gotten absolutely no information other than what I myself could interpret from googling the terms on my MRI. On the flip side at least he was nice and I could get an appt quickly.

I was extremely pleased with the surgery done on my wrist by Dr. Siegel. He explained the options clearly and followed through from point of surgery to final visit with clear and direct information and guidance. I feel very fortunate to have been in the care of this skilled surgeon.

Everything went very smoothly from the operation to recovery. Pain was minimal. Scars not noticeable. Movement came back very quickly. Great physical therapy staff.
