Suffered for 2 years with severe spinal stenosis and herniated discs. Dr. Spivak performed spine surgery on my grandmother. After years and years of suffering from spinal stenosis, and attempting alternative treatments, she reluctantly gave in to surgery . And she is so happy she did. Dr. Spivak treated her with such care that by the time it was time for surgery, she felt calm and comfortable. The surgery was a success and while the recovery was difficult (as expected), she was back to walking within a few weeks. There is no doubt in my mind that the process would've been much worse had the surgeon been anyone other than Dr. Spivak. His staff is incredible, particularly Gail and Jamie. My grandmother's only regret is that she didn't do this sooner.

He’s kind, caring and thorough

I traveled from Georgia to have surgery with Dr. Spivak and I must say I did the right thing. After seeing unsatisfactory results from patients who had back surgery in Ga, I decided it was worth the trip....(and I also have a place close by to stay at). Dr. Spivak and his PA spent all the time that was needed to listen to me and figure out what would be the best procedure for me. After the procedure, they followed up with me on how I was doing, addressed all of my concerns immediately and my pain has almost totally disappeared. His entire staff is totally professional and caring.....also following up on their own. I would recommend Dr. Spivak to anyone who is suffering from constant back or neck pain...you just can't go wrong.

From the moment we met, I knew he was the physician to perform my procedure.Jeffrey took the time to look closely at my condition, review my previous treatments and match to my life style.He explained exactly what the procedure would entail. We discussed options together and settled on the best procedure. His office staff took over from there. From setting up the pre-cert appointments, insurance approvals to follow ups while I was in the hospital, 1st class. The whole process made me feel comfortable in my decision and prognosis.
