Dr. Jeffrey Thomas Truitt, MD

Dr. Truitt and his staff have all been so kind and caring to me. I feel each of them truly care about the patient. Dr. Truitt never rushes me, and takes time to really listen and explain anything I don’t understand in an easy way. I feel blessed to have him and his caring nurses and office staff for many years. ??????????

Made an appointment with Dr Truitt because a couple of my doctors referred me to pain management because of my chronic pain. I have degenerative disc disease in my neck (among pain in several parts of my body for other conditions) My first visit, I can tell he really didn’t care for his patients, but I gave him a chance. He prescribed me gabapentin (which I told him did NOT work in the past and a muscle relaxer. Both did nothing for my excruciating pain! Went back to him 2 months later and he basically suggested that I either get surgery on my neck?? or get injections ?? I told him I didn’t want either! I’m not just going to let anyone do surgery or injections on such a delicate part of my body where I can be paralyzed forever! I have anxiety also and told him I didn’t have a good experience in the past with epidurals so why would he suggests that? He tells me it’s all over the news about opioid addiction and he don’t prescribe pain pills, however, my friend sees him and he prescribes… opioids to her. So he’s a liar and he doesn’t listen to his patients which means he doesn’t care. I would definitely not recommend him if you are in excruciating pain EVERYDAY and looking for a Dr that cares and is honest. Dr Truitt is not the Dr for you. I will be looking into speaking to Jefferson’s director to discuss my experience with him

He is a pain management physician who only treats you to make money in a pharmacy he is part owner of. If you are treating with him and he refers you to Keystone Pharmacy for medication and the voodoo compound cream, he has a vested interest to make money off of you and insurance company. It's a conflict of interest and I guess his ethical standards don't have an issue with this.

He is such a compassionate doctor. He listens to you about your pain. He is a just a really nice doctor. And his staff is really great too.

He is totally disrespectful and has no compassion!

I also being a patient of the last doctor before truitt. I've ms and he told me because he can't change my medication (insurance won't cover) he'd taper me down. I agreed, tho it didn't work well I would run out before seeing him again. Dr g. Told me because I signed with him I'd have to go back tho I didn't want too because he didn't care I've been in pain nor that I need knees surgury. I did try, he cut my meds in less than half. I made it 3 weeks. Because dr g. couldnt write out anything I had to go back to truitt and to tell them why I didn't call to let them know in 1st few days, so I did . Dr Truitt wrote out another even less than what i was prescribed from him the 1st time, he said I broke contract and im lucky to get anything at all and now noone from aria hosp. Or affiliated with can write me my medication. I honestly believe he's trying to rid all of previous dr.'s patients no matter what their ailment! I've been on medication since 2003, diagnosed in 2013. I will also be… submitting complaints elsewhere to say the least

He never seen my conditions he attacked me and called me a drug addict! Truitt made fun of my weight on top of that was unprofessional ! Never did expect that but I did expect his personality which I was gonna except what he had to say ...but not this !!!,I'm taking it to medical board and as far as can go do I think it will get me anywhere well not sure but I will try!!!

Office manager is awful. They did not precert procedure ended up paying out of pocket for two epidural cervical shots.
