Dr. Jeffrey A Wacks, MD

Dr. Wacks lacked the bedside manner, experience, and maturity for me to feel confidant in his abilities as a physician. Although I'd chosen him as my PCP, he never examined me during the time I'd been enrolled in his practice. Things slipped through the cracks, perhaps because things got too busy too fast for a new physician in practice. I chose to leave the practice and look for a more seasoned, well-rounded practitioner.

I was not getting anywhere with my Rheumatologist. Phone tag, poor communication, not understanding my full medical history, not thinking about my case. I sent Dr. Wacks a message asking for help. Within an hour, he called me back with a much more comprehensive treatment plan going forward. He advocates for me among my specialists and this is one of the many things we love about him.

The office is different… I mean that in the best possible way. You don’t walk into a sterile-looking office with a grumpy woman behind bullet-proof glass. The waiting room kind of looks like a family room, they give you coffee, and everyone is so nice (we love Jennifer at the front desk)! Highly recommend!

When everyone else was closed during COVID, Dr Wacks and the Patriot Direct team were always there for me. The practice is consistent and reliable.
