Dr. Whelan did an excellent job of repairing my son's ACL. Unfortunely, my son tore his opposite acl and Dr. Whelan has retired:). Please pray for my son's second surgery. God bless us to find another surgeon with the same care and quality,Dr. Whalen provided for us!

See him twice, once in 2000 for my broken wrist surgery and second in 2011 to check on my knee after my surgery done in Taiwan. He is a pure professional doctor who will tell your condition without any hiding of the fact.I heard he is retiring and relocating to other city. I wish the best of him on his retirement.

Dr. Whelan did not smile nor did he take any extra effort in making me feel welcome. However, his nurse and staff did. I know some physicians do not have a good bedside manner but more important to me was his ability to diagnose my problem and resolve it, which he did. I have been to a few doctors with the great bedside manner skills but lack medical skills. He looked at my xrays, recommended aspiration which he did with minimal pain and explained to me the issue and how to take care of it.I like everyone at Kelsey Seybold and have never had an issue.

Trying to get information so that I can possibly set appt for my Grandmother wasimpossible! The staff was very rude and I was transfered to his Nurse, the phone rang forever when finally someone picked up without saying one word, then put me on eternal hold. If the is the service you get, I will never allow them to care for my Grandmother!

DR, WHELEN HAS A RUDE AND UNCARING DEMEANOR. I WILL NEVER SEE THIS DOCTOR AGAIN AND I'M SURE HE DOESN'T CARE. HIS STAFF NURSE MICHELLE IS ALSO RUDE. I HAD KNEE SURGERY AND MY POST-OP APPOINTMENT WAS SO AWKARD AND SO BAD I HAD TO LOOK ON THE INTERNET TO FIND OUT HOW TO STRENGHTEN AND HEAL MY KNEE AND HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE BEFORE I CAN RESUME REGULAR ACTIVITIES. I THOUGHT THAT DOCTORS ARE SUPPOSE TO ADVISE THEIR PATIENTS OF CARE AFTER SURGERY. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS RELEASED TO GO BACK TO WORK WITH NO FOLLOW UP WITH HIM... HOPEFULLY I WILL HEAL PROPERLY. THIS WAS SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE FOR ME THAT HE MADE ME FEEL AS THOUGH I WAS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE THERE.

Dr. Whelan was extremely rude, talked down to my husband and I and barely looked at my sons problem. I will never see this doctor again and make sure none of my friends do either.
