Dr. Jeffrey David Yergler, MD

This was my 2nd total knee replacement by Dr. Yergler so I already knew what to expect. Surgery went well and I was very quickly walking without a walker or cane. Everything about the office is efficient. I would, and have recommended him to orhers.

2 months ago, Dr. Y immediately found problem with my knee, treated it, and I can walk and exercise without pain ! Today, I played my first ever game of Pickleball ! May our Lord bless Dr. Y and the SBO Staff for all they have done to give me a brand new life. I am very humbled and grateful.

Dr Yergler did my knee surgery and did a excellent job! I had dealt with my knee issues for many yrs and finally had a MRI done and he explained all that was wrong with my knee yes it’s a mess and after my surgery I had NO PAIN a little discomfort but never needed pain meds which I had but never needed them I was able to walk afterwards he is absolutely the best I’m so happy and in shock this has been almost 2 yrs now and still no issues with my knee. I will always use him if I need to again. Mr Yergler you my Doctor are simply amazing!!! Thankyou for all that you did for me you are so appreciated!

Incorrect information in medical record and wouldn't correct it. If you give access to patients through a patient portal you should make sure the info is correct. Just in it for the money. Was insistent on doing surgery. He never offered or even mentioned alternatives.

I had 2 knee replacements and it was the best decision I have ever made. I am very very satisfied with my surgery. He did an excellent job. I recommend him to my friends. Love my knees.

Dr. Yergler performed my double knee replacements a couple years ago. He took time to explain everything pre- and was available post-surgery. My outcome has been outstanding, and I got my mobility back. He is the best orthopedic surgeon in our area having done so many of my friends' knee surgeries I've lost track. He has even fixed mistakes made by other surgeons in Michigan City and LaPorte.

Very discouraged about the outcome of my surgery. Do have a great deal of confidence in Dr Yergler. Fine surgeon but surgery did go well.

Had more than "just" a total knee replacement. My entire right leg needed straightening and he managed to do it. 2 weeks after the surgery, I'm using a cane, working on walking without it, very pleased with my progress and my leg is straight for the first time in 3 years. Would recommend him to anyone requiring knee replacement. BTW, waiting for him for office appts. was understandable, my own surgery took longer than anticipated due to the complexity of straightening the leg. Nature of the beast due to the excellence of the work.

Dr. Yergler was great! I was released after six weeks for knee replacement. He told me what to expect after surgery and how much I was going to have to work to get it back to normal. I would recommond him for any orthopedic surgery
