Dr. Jeffry Brian Potash, MD

Dr. Potash is genuinely concerned, very knowledgeable and is available for appointments in a reasonable amount of time. What more could you ask for? He calls immediately with test results and he is genuinely happy when the tests results are good and he is very supportive when there are medical problems. Highly recommended! If you get to know him you will greatly appreciate having this wonderful doctor in our community. Love his sense of humor.

I have always had the best experience with Dr. Potash. His dry sense of humor keeps any worrisome issues that you have under wraps. He reads you like a book the minute you walk into his exam room. Very intuitive and honorable to his oath as a Doctor. His whole staff is quite courteous and very thorough.

I found Dr. Potash to be extremely arrogant and condescending, bordering on insulting. In my professional life I've taught students to use good manners and proper people skills when dealing with a client population - it is too bad I did not receive these during my consult with him. It was not a good experience for me and not one that I'll willingly repeat.

Many believe that the most important thing we have is our health. If that is the case with you, then you obviously want the best doctor you can get. That doctor should be Dr. Jeffry Potash. Dr. Potash will not stop until he has done everything he can to help you reach optimal health. He'll be there for you. Most people would want Tiger Woods as their golf partner, and so it follows that you would want Dr, Potash as your health partner. This is your guy. See him now!

I feel fortunate that we have such an excellent Gastroenterologist in our community. I've had three colonoscopies with Dr.Potash, as well as screening for other concerns, and all of these experiences have been positive. In addition to his skill in the OR, he is excellent at gathering patient data and diagnosing issues. He listens respectfully and explains things clearly. Apparently some people find his manner off-putting, but I have always appreciated his quirky sense of humor. His humor is just an added benefit--the main thing is that Dr. Potash is a first rate physician.

Ive had other exams and colonoscopy procedures with Dr. Potash. I agree with the reviews calling him strange. His interpersoanl skills are just not good although he may be very knowlegageable. After this last colonoscopy and his rushed, too sarcastic, or detached manner, I left thinking I would never return.

His manner was extremely strange. It seemed as if there was some joke I wasn't in on or something. I had gotten an appointment for a screening after turning 50, as all the ads urged me to do (I also had several friends who had cancers of the GI tract). He interviewed me with a strange smile and asked me why I wanted a colonoscopy. His humorous and suspicious nature seemed to suggest that it was extremely unusual and perhaps... kinky or something, that I should want this screening! He gave me the creeps in a big way! I never returned for the colonoscopy!

Although sometimes blunt and direct, he has always had my best interest in mind. He is a wonderful, brilliant doctor.

He was somewhat flirtatious and being that the exam is so personal and unpleasant under the best of circumstances, I felt violated when I left. I've never had such an unpleasant experience with a doctor, and I would never go back to him or refer him to anyone. I have since spoken to 2 other people in the community who had similar experiences with Dr. Potash.
