Dr. Jehyun A Ryu

Dr. Jehyun Anthony Ryu  and his family immigrated to the United States in 1978 from South Korea. He grew up and resided in New Jersey until his move to Arizona in 2002.
Dr. Ryu received his Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, in New York City graduating in May of 1992. He worked in the engineering field, but he was not happy. In1994, he entered New York University College of Dentistry where he received his degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery in May of 1998. Dr. Ryu also completed an Advance Education in General Dentistry in June of 1999 from Columbia University School of Dentistry and Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

Dr. Ryu has been in both public and private …practices. He was chosen as a recipient for the State of New Jersey’s Health Care Provider Loan Redemption Program for providing access to care for the underserved. From 1999 till 2002, he practiced in a private practice and a community health center in New Jersey.
Since 2002, he has been in private practice in the southwest valley. He is proficient in all phases of dentistry including root canals, extractions, fillings, crowns, and dental implants.

Dr. Ryu has completed over 1000 units of continuing education since his graduation in May of 1998. He is currently working on his fellowship in Academy of General Dentistry.
