Dr. Jennifer Irene Wakeland Bigelow, MD

I was formerly a patient of Dr. Bigelow for years. She delivered my son and I just adored her but when she left to go to another country for two years, it left me no chance to find another doctor. When I found out she returned, I made an appointment with her. I was having some anxiety and she prayed with me and stated no charge for the visit. Later on I received a bill for $137. I’m not saying she lied but her billing staff is outrageously rude. They made it obvious that I couldn’t be scheduled until the balance was paid and even if I did pay the amount due, they couldn’t guarantee my visit being approved by Dr. Bigelow. I’m just so disappointed. Over $137, you permanently remove a patient? The office made it VERY obvious when I left a voicemail and they didn’t return my call and when I called and the girl answered transferring me to two different people so they could tell me I wasn’t allowed to come back. For a Christian based practice, this is alarming and really heartbreaking and I… am still confused about the real reason I’m not allowed to come back.

I would like to start by saying I would not ever trust her again. She misdiagnosed a problem that I had and I ended up having to have surgery on that issue. I don't feel that the service I received from her warrants full payment. Now her office is bugging me for the $100.00 I owe her. I will be paying her $5.00 a month till it is paid off.

Bunch of hassles after hassles to get someone to help you and rude behavior on the phone when I have to call them would not recommend taking evem my doggie there. AWEFUL AWEFUL.....

I've been going to Dr. Bigelow for years and she is a wonderful and caring Doctor. She has a genuine bedside manner and is very professional and friendly.

Dr Bigelow is a wonderful and caring Doctor who takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. Excellent bedside manner.

I like Dr Bigelow as a doctor WHEN I can get an appt to see her. My entire family has had to visit Prompt Med several times because we couldn't get an appt with Dr Bigelow when we needed one. Have seriously considered changing Drs. for this sole reason.

Worst MD in the state of Indiana! Poor Accuracy in diagnosing medical conditions. She all most cost me not only my life but my unborn childs aswell. Please look into another office for your care.
