Jennifer Breazeale, MD

I recently delivered with doctor Breazeale as my OB/GYN. While most of my visits were fine, I should have known that she wasn't on board with what I wished from my pregnancy and delivery about 1/3 of the way through my pregnancy when she talked down to me and basically made me feel like I was an idiot, even though what I was saying was backed up by research from multiple sources. She planned to do a c-section while leading me to believe she was 100% on board with my natural birth wishes. At the hospital, she shooed my family out of the room for one check, and proceeded to break my water against my wishes with no medical reason to do so at that time. I repeatedly said no I don't want that. Don't do that, as well as my two doulas who were present. This made her move quicker to do what she wanted. She then started me on oxytocin after I had basically given up fighting about what I wanted and what I knew was still completely safe. She just wanted to speed things along. Shortly after the… medication she came in and said that we had to do a c-section (also no medical need for intervention at this time). There was no discussion about why, or risks/benefits. She just stated that this is what was going to happen. I would not recommend anyone who wants an all natural birth see her. She is not here to support you and your wishes. She just is there for the paycheck.

I was scheduled on her schedule for a pelvic exam from a hospital visit the prior week. I had already did a follow up from my hospital visit with my PCP the day before. She didn't do the pelvic exam like she was supposed to and said that my visit that day was for a follow up and I said no I just saw PCP for a follow up im here for pelvic exam. She didn't care. She basically just wanted my co-payment to talk to me. Which is not what I was there for. I don't know if she was just being lazy or what but I started bleeding later that afternoon and if she would have just done a pelvic exam like she was supposed to maybe she could have prevented or been proactive to the bleed. But she wasted time and money and my health because she didn't want to take 5 minutes of her time to do the exam that was scheduled. I don't need to follow up visits. She needs to put her patients needs first I feel. She was kind and on time but showed no regard to true patient care.

We adore Dr. Jen. She is such a sweet heart and is so very personable. She spends time with you and never makes you feel uncomfortable. She always makes sure she has answered all your questions. I love that she's easy going and doesn't pressure you to do things that you don't want to do. I highly recommend her!

Words don't even begin to praise this woman for the incredible human and exceptional Doctor she is. An absolute one of a kind...and that is coming from a labor and delivery nurse.

I absolutely love this doctor. She is so warm and has a great sense of humor. She is always very patient with me and answers my long list of questions. When Kelsey Seybold severed their relationship with my insurance I had to decide whether to change doctors or pay more and switch plans. I decided to pay more just to keep her! I wouldn't want to see anyone else. After a procedure she performed she personally sent texts to see how I was feeling. She's amazing.

It has been several years since I had seen her for a procedure. I didn't like her at all, I thought she was a very cold person and had a cold bedside manner. I thought maybe it was me, but my daughter also went to her with a first pregnancy & she thought the doctor talked very down to her because she wasn't married. If you go, please write a reveiw for the good or bad for future patients. Maybe your experiece will be better than ours.
