Dr. Jennifer Caicedo joined Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center in 2010. She obtained her M.D. degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2002. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Shands Childrenâ€™s Hospital at the University of Florida in 2005, where she then stayed on as a Post-Doctoral Associate in Clinical Immunology from 2005-06. In 2008, she completed her Fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Wake Forest University.

Dr. Caicedo is a diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, and also certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the Mecklenburg County Medical Society, and the Charlotte Pediatric Society.

Dr. Caicedo sees patients of all ages - infants, children, adolescents and adults - in her clinic. Her interests include food allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis, asthma, atopic …dermatitis and other skin disorders, and the evaluation of disorders of the immune system. When Dr. Caicedo is not seeing patients, she enjoys being involved in her church community and spending time with her husband and two children.

Dr. Caicedo was very nice and knowledgeable about atopic dermatitis! She gave us a care plan and recommended products to help manage symptoms. All staff was very nice! I'd recommend :)

Dr. Caicedo was fantastic! I was nervous initially going in but once I got to talking to her she made me feel comfortable and secure. Answered all my questions and gave me recommendations on products to help keep my allergies under control.

Excellent listener, excellent communicator, vast foundation of medical knowledge, really easy-going, relaxed, upbeat, and positive. An excellent physician and someone I would return to without any hesitation. It was like I was talking to my neighbor, but with advanced medical knowledge. I was there in the office for 4 hours going through allergy testing. It was a very pleasant experience for sure.
