Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:I come from a family of nurses. I enjoy people and helping people. I also enjoy teaching. This career gives me the opportunity to do all three.What I want my patients to know about me:I really enjoy what I do, and I wouldn't want to do anything else. I have been with WellSpan over 30 years.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I am a family person. I spend a lot of time with my immediate and extended family. I enjoy the outdoors, so do a lot of hiking, kayaking and camping with my husband and our 2 dogs. I am also very involved at my church as a Stephen's Minister, teaching Sunday school, and going on mission trips. My husband and I recently started a hiking club at our church. Anyone is welcome to join us.
