My children were almost patients with Point Loma Pediatrics. I kept trying to call and verify for a week that our children’s records were properly being transferred over, but the front desk gentleman kept telling me he had no record of us then, stating we need to transfer our records..I was highly confused. I asked to speak to an office manager because the terminology he was using, he seemed like he was new or didn’t know what he was doing. When I was waiting on hold for 40 minutes.. I finally talked to the front desk manager and he kept over talking me and wouldn’t let me speak at all, he was also trying to explain that the gentleman I was speaking with is new and doesn’t know what he’s talking about? So I said, then I’m highly confused on who knows what they are doing in the office because it seems like everyone does different protocols. I was then trying to explain myself and I was hung up on. I later on received an email from Jenn Davis (the Doctor) telling me I called her staff… “idiots” and was rude to them so I will not be welcome to have my children be seen at her practice. She wouldn’t even hear my side of the story and she still will not return my phone call. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this practice but after dealing with the harassment from their office and unprofessional manners they have shown, we decided to go with another doctor. I have proof with the emails from Dr. Davis and I will be filing a complaint. I hope no one else is mistreated by this practice.
