Dr. Jennifer M Demos-Bertrand, DO

The doctor told me she would call me on a specific day about the results of my tests. Never received a call and left worrying until my next appointment. I understand people get overwhelmed with work but don't tell me you will call and then never do.

I was just asked what I needed. I kept repeating but no options were given besides I have to wait more weeks

I have never felt as disrespected by ANY doctor the way I did with Demos-Bertrand. She is dismissive about any concerns, rushes through appointments (sometimes only spending minutes just to state she has seen you), weight shames INCESSANTLY, and is consistently in an awful mood as though you're putting her out by even setting foot in her office. It is sad that in today's world a woman would treat other women with such disrespect. After three visits without change, I immediately switched providers, as I could not bear the thought of this awful person delivering my child.

When my husband and I were pregnant with our first child, we searched high and low for a OB/GYN. We chose the OB/GYN practice at The Christ Liberty. Initially we saw another doctor in the group. The next visit we were scheduled with Dr. Demos and we fell in love with her. She was always very personable and professional. Some may say she comes as being strong however she guided us through our complicated delivery and never let us down. We were fortunate that she was on call the day my water broke and was able to perform the c-section. Even the discharge nurses complimented her handy work. We recommend her to everyone we know.

I never feel i was care, always feel like i was ignored. Once Dr. Demose know i will not be her patient any longer she stop replying to my message. It’s been a week i send her messages through my chart her staff seen it and ignore it. There is so much to say abt the care I received but it’s not make any difference now because i will never visit her office again.

I recently recommended Dr. Demos to a friend. I had never thought to look her reviews up before and to say I was shocked by her low rating is an understatement. I cannot speak on others experiences but for myself, I couldn’t ask for a better doctor. Dr. Demos has always been very accommodating to my needs and shown true care and concern when I approached her with any questions or issues. She delivered my miracle baby and I will always be so thankful for that. I will continue to see Dr. Demos for all of my OBGYN needs and if I should ever be so lucky to have another baby there is no other doctor I would want by my side through pregnancy and delivery.

Unfortunately, I experienced what many other reviewers have. Dr. Demos-Bertrand struggled to focus on why I scheduled an appointment with her and to listen to me without becoming distracted by unrelated matters and finding the need to lecture and offer her opinion on those unrelated matters. I will never schedule another appointment with her. The way she handled herself was immature and unprofessional. I left my appointment feeling angry and frustrated. I now need to schedule another appointment with a GP to explain labs that were ordered by her because, per her words, my GP (which she knew I didn’t have) could manage it. I guess it was her way of bullying me into getting a GP? I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I’m still confused.

Experienced severe pain. made complaints known to dr demos she disregarded pain. Did not try to assess as pain got more severe as pregnancy progressed. I had to ask for referral to physical therapy, she refused to write dr note for lifting restrictions. I tried explaining to her the heavy lifting required at my job and how it exacerbates the pain, yet she still refused. I felt ignored and unimportant. I asked to speak to her directly and she had her staff return phone call. I do not recommend her at all.

Simply put, parents are the primary caregivers of their children. Doctors are consultants—and this one forgot her place. Treated my pregnant wife with disdain & disrespect when my wife rejected a specific treatment she was not comfortable receiving. Would recommend seeing any other doctor at this facility, and even other facilities, before seeing Dr. Demos-Bertrand. Her beliefs crossed the line of consulting, entirely too dogmatic and pushy. She was extremely rough while examining my wife’s belly after she learned of my wife’s decision to reject a procedure. Protect yourself & your unborn—do not schedule an appointment with this doctor.

Went in to get a second opinion. She sat and listened to all my concerns. She then collaborated a plan of actions for my issues. She also was concerned about the pain I was in due to the cysts I have on my ovaries. I really felt she was there for me and helped address everything I was concerned about. I had to drive almost 40 minutes to get there for my first appointment and I will be continuing to make that drive to go to her even though there is a location 5 minutes from my home.
