Dr. Jennifer Ann Everson, MD

I have been reading the reviews of doctor Everson. I don’t agree with the majority of her reviews. She is a great doctor and she tells you what is best for you. If you have a question tell her, she does answer to where you understand. I will admit when I first met her, I was unsure. After my second appointment she explained everything to me. What test I needed and why I needed them. I needed a hysterectomy and she walked me through what needed to be done. After I left the her office, I went and researched on my own and found that she was correct. I don’t ask for a doctor to hold my hand. I do suffer from anxiety and Dr. Everson knew this. She still treated me as a person, even if I had to wait for my appt. she would apologize. I never want a doctor to hold my hand and coddle me when I go. I want a doctor like Doctor Everson, that when I do have questions, she gives her undivided attention and answers the questions. Honestly wished she was PCP. Dr. Everson is not rude, she is straight… and to the point. She does a sense of humor. I trust Dr. Everson.

Now that I'm pregnant with #2, I have since learned that Dr. Everson is known as a surgical doctor in the birth community. She is very good at c-sections, but as an obstetrician, she should not force this on her patients. My daughter was breech the entire pregnancy, probably for a valid reason if she never flipped, but Dr. Everson outright told me that there was nothing I could do to encourage her to flip. I was seeing a chiropractor at the time, who told me about Spinning Babies, but I felt defeated because my doctor told me I couldn't do anything. I was uneducated and took her word as gospel. I didn't know I could refuse the surgery. I didn't know I could find a different provider. I didn't know about the risks and implications this surgery would have on future pregnancies. She didn't thoroughly explain the risks and benefits of my options. I resent her and I resent this practice. I implore anyone reading this to do their research. The only reason this practice has such great… reviews is because of ONE doctor. The receptionists weren't friendly at all. Rarely even said, "hi." Just asked for my name and if my insurance or address changed. No effort to pretend to get to know me, let alone be friendly. Same with the receptionists at check out. I always felt like I was bothering them. I ALWAYS had to wait at least an hour, up to almost 2 hours, for my appointments. And my appointments were always rushed. As I got towards the end of my pregnancy, they seemed to be able to squeeze me in quickly, but it was awful otherwise. It was explained to me that one of the other doctors had an emergency and had to leave the practice, as such, the other doctors were picking up patients. In this case, this should be communicated with the scheduled patients and the schedule should be adjusted. It is completely unacceptable to keep pregnant women, or really anyone for that matter, waiting for almost two hours for an appointment.

Worst doctor ever! Rude! I would never go to see her again!

Not sure what anyone could complain about. Having to wait for your appt. is not her fault. She’s quick but thorough! She’s seen me through all 3 pregnancies and I have no complaints!

If I wanted coddling, I would have sought out a pediatrician who saw adults. However, I needed a cool head who would advise me and treat me. She is wonderful and has a great sense of humor.

This woman is rude.

I went with mild concerns and she has fast tracked me through tests. She is trying to help solve my problems. I want to hear the truth, not a nursery rhyme.

Stay away from Dr Jenna Everson. She falsified medical records and was recommending unnecessary surgery. Two second opinions with testing showed the opposite of what she wanted to do WITHOUT testing. Don't ever let this woman perform a biopsy on you. She enjoys damaging you to promote surgery to fix what she DAMAGED. Stay away.

The waiting was ridiculous. You wait in three different offices. You see about 10 minutes and get told each procedure has to be done on separate appointments! ( blood work, pap, anything) all have to be separate!! I'm assuming so they can charge another office visit each time. The Doctor herself ( was in and out of the downtown region) and I'm a wimp when it comes to that so I was pleased she didn't make me bleed or hurt me at all.

I was a high risk patient, and when every I went there to see the doctor her and the nurses were so nice month after month i was told nothing was wrong. Until one day i started having pains was told by the nurse to take a pill eventually I ending up having a miscarriage and they said it was nothing they could do they absolutely didn't answer my calls for help or nothing. I am not saying don't go there but you be the judge of if you want that type of care while your pregnant.
