Dr. Jennifer Lynn Harrington, MD

I went to Jennifer when I was younger. She put me on anxiety medication with horrible side effects. I constantly told her all of the issues I was experiencing; hot flashes, extreme weight gain without eating a lot, mood swings, etc. She ignored my statements and convinced my parents that I just didn't want to be on medication. I told my primary care doctor and she did a few tests. The medicine she put me on made my prolactin level jump through the roof. One of my doctors said she was surprised I wasn't able to produce breast milk. I wasn't pregnant, I was 15. We showed these o her and she said she didn't see an issue with them. My parents immediately took me off the medication and looked for a new doctor. Now I am 22 and have extreme hormonal issues, and my endocrine system won't properly produce insulin. The doctors tell me this is because of the medicine she had me on. They aren't 100% sure I will be able to have children in the future either. They say these conditions are… likely permanent, and I will have to deal with them for the rest of my life. Stay safe, and choose a different doctor.
