Dr. Jennifer Margaret Howard, MD

I read her reviews and was really nervous about my appointment but was pleasantly surprised by how nice she was. She answered my questions and was respectful. I suspect that a lot of the negative reviews are because her office is very busy but the day I was there she took her time to get my background history and to discuss some of my concerns.

This woman makes you highly uncomfortable. She has terrible bedside manner just save yourself the stress find a different doctor

Since the very beginning she was completely dismissive. The first time I went to speak about an IUD she handed me a packet and expected me to be happy. When I asked her a specific question about the IUD she told me “it’s in the packet” not showing any signs that she was willing to hear me out or communicate with me as my doctor. My last visit I expected to be able to speak to my doctor about the issues I was having but instead Dr.Howard got upset with me because I didn’t tell the nurse ‘everything’ that what was going on. I came to see her... not the nurse. If I remember something during my visit can I not tell it to my doctor?! Is it not more useful to “Doctors” that they have as much information as possible?!Well, Dr.Howard then proceeded to tell me she was frustrated, “because she couldn’t get to the next patient.” Bear in mind, I was with her for less than 15 minutes! In the beginning of the visit she asked me “why are you here?” not in a “how can I help you?” sort of way, but… instead implying there is no reason for me to be there. I was so taken aback, I didn’t even get to ask her opinion on why I might’ve been feeling the way I was feeling. All she felt the need to say was “if you don’t hear back from me then everything is okay”, please... please, someone explain to me how everything is okay if I’m telling her I don’t feel okay! She is the worst. All three times that I’ve gone to seen her I did NOT feel comfortable. I will NEVER consciously recommend her to anyone. It seems she has enough attitude for the whole building. besides that, the receptionist that attended to me is very helpful!

Any OBGYN that says you cannot have your annual pap smear should be fired.

i agree with some of the comments - bedside manner isn't what she's there for. but i've found her to be attentive, efficient, understanding, and she's always been patient with my many questions. after my visit with her, i made her my primary ob gyn

I had the worst experience with this doctor. I would never like to be seen with her again. She doesn’t know how to treat patients with care and respect. When it comes to health advice she told me the only way to keep my virgina dry is to use powder and a blow dryer. What kind of professional licensed doctor will tell a patient that. There is something mentally wrong with her. She needs to get evaluated ASAP!

She was a nice woman and aggressive with getting me the care i needed.She went out of her way for me.I fell fortunate to have her as my Dr.

I went to this doc once. I've been seeing docs for pap smears for many years and never bled afterwards. Dr Jennifer M Howard made me bleed a lot. Her touch is just too much. She hurt me. I've read online it's normal, but still! It never happened before to me.

Rude bedside manners. Made me feel like I was an animal, not human at all. This woman should not be working on sick people.
