Dr. Jennifer Lavette Johnson-Caldwell, MD

Dr. Caldwell was my mother's doctor for years. At first the staff did come off very unprofessional and rude. However, over the years they was more helpful and much nicer. Dr. Caldwell is very attentive and listened mother concerns. Truly, I never did see her do an actual exam, like I have never seen her listen to her lungs or stomach. But, she was an extremely nice person and never seemed pushy or like she didn't have time for her. I am now going to recommend my father see her. I love the location and can make an appointment easily. Thanks, Donna

i had an great Experience with Dr.Caldwell. Very attentive,caring , with great bedside manor. Her staff was awesome , helped me with every issue. i looked at these reviews of some people that where unhappy, maybe you should come with better attitudes as well as knowing the rules of the office. my experience was awesome.guess you cant make everyone happy.

Some doctors you can't trust. Dr.Caldwell has been in my life for over 10 years. All I have had from her and her staff is great success . No matter what was ever wrong with me she found it. The staff you will find no were else. Yes I will drive 214 miles to see her , why not she is the best ever.

Could not digest being talked to by the rude, black female at the front desk. You can tell by her voice on the phone she was faking to be nice. Very unprofessional. I would not return there. Amazing how Dr. Caldwell just smiles and let her staff act in such an unprofessional manner.

My review on Dr. Caldwell's professional service is below standards. The office staff seems to take many of her responsibilities into their own hands and needless to say, their is no bridge between the doctor and the patient. when phoning the office, the staff is quite less than poor in retrieving much needed information to the patient. Requisitions are made over and over again always leaving something undone.

While Dr. Caldwell has very good bed side manner there is never an actual hands on exam. She listens then prescribe medicine. Her staff is beyond RUDE!!! No matter how nice you are they are just horrible. They are rude to you and the pharmacy. I have had several call backs from the pharmacy and medical equipment suppliers regarding the rude treatment they have received. I wonder are these people her family? They have all been there for awhile and are all so so very rude.

Perhaps long ago I would have dealt with the attitude, wait time and no refill kind of doctor for my chronic condition, but now with too little time, money and a whole slew of highly educated, competent and kind hearted other physicians to be fooling around with someone like Dr. Caldwell, who seems to be looking out for her own interest.

Its funny how all the people who write comments are unhappy. I have always had a wonderful experience with both Dr. Caldwell and her staff. If you treat people kindly they treat you kindly and with respect. Dr. Caldwell has always asked me to bring my list of questions in to ensure everything I have concerns about are addressed . I receive my labs either the day of my appointment or within 48 hours if they can be performed in the office. I am very happy. I've never been to a doctor that I did not have to wait. It's expected because of the unexpected.

I've been going to Dr Johnson-Caldwell for about 3 years now, mostly because her office is convenient to me. While I felt like I was in capable hands with the doctor, her staff has never been polite to me, something I was able to overlook. Recently I called to get a 1-month extension on birth control pills to cover me until my next appointment. (I am allowed 1 well woman exam per calendar year, and my pills ran out before then.) The receptionist claimed that because it had been more than 6 months since my last visit they would not approve the extension. This makes no sense for a 1-year Rx associated witha yearly exam. I asked to speak to the doctor, mostly to discuss the risks of interrupting my Rx, and the receptionist flipped out! She called me "honey" and told me that I was abusing the system, and that I don't make the rules, they do. !!! I called my pharmacist, who then called the office for me as she said it made no sense to her either (very nice!), and she told me that… she was treated extremely rudely as well, being told "We denied the request. Do you not get that means 'no'? You think you can call here and bully us into saying yes?" She told me to change doctors immediately, which I did. Meanwhile, I hope I do not get pregnant this next month. I don't even know where to buy condoms, lol

Dr. Caldwell's staff needs more training and she needs to go back to medical school. My Mom was one of her patients for many years and most of the time, never saw her, only students in training. About a month or so before my Mom's death,(yes she passed away) she was in the process of finding another doctor. If Dr. Caldwall had addressed some of my Mom's issues, her cancer might not have spread so quickly. So many of Dr. Caldwell's patients have found themselves another doctor, until she is soliciting new patients by sending medicare patients post cards by mail! She needs to get her act together before she get a mal-practice law suit.
