Dr. Jennifer Lynn Kummer, MD

Dr. Kummer stepped up to help my husband after another surgeon didn't do his due diligence. My husband ended up with a severe bone infection (osteomeylitis) following his original surgery. Dr. Kummer performed surgery to remove the plate, pins, decaying bone and all the infection. She was very thorough and set him up with an infectious disease doctor who put him on antibiotics via PICC Line for 6 weeks. I truly believe Dr. Kummer saved his wrist.

Best hand surgeon I've ever encountered. She never made me feel like my pain was insignificant she stuck with me and found the problem in my wrist. She repaired it and now I can't imagine going as long as I did to have a arm problem fixed. I got expected follow up call post op. I didn't expect a call personally from dr Kummer her self, that showed even more how much she cares. I would have my other wrist fixed with her

Jennifer took care of my son recently after he broke his arm. She was meticulous in making sure he was treated with care and respect. She was attentive and never rushed to get to the next patient. For a shy little boy to be completely comfortable with a "strange" doctor he didn't know was a sight to behold. Recommended - Yes Please!

Dr. Kummer was wonderful from the beginning to the end of my son's treatment for a broken arm. She took time to understand the injury and answer all of my 'mom' questions. She also took time to always engage my son in his treatment, though he always shyly evaded her. Dr. Kummer was warm and gentle and treated my son with care and importance. He always walked out of the office feeling incredibly special with his new colored cast that he chose or his special Spiderman splint. I'm sure Dr. Kummer has dealt with hundreds of broken arms and anxious mothers, but she put me and my son at ease and guided us through the entire process. I highly recommend and trust Dr. Kummer and all of her support staff at Steadman Hawkins. My son is all healed and back in the mix and has good memories of his experience with Dr. Kummer and her staff.

While I am sure Dr. Kummer is a competent doctor, I unfortunately found her to be unprofessional, so I decided to seek care from another provider. There are many surgeons in Denver, so it was easy to find someone else who was both professional and competent. I have never posted an online review of anything/anyone before, but I felt that it was necessary in this case. I would not recommend her to a family member or friend.

i drove 6 hours to see her after seeing 2 doctors in my hometown. She gave me little to no information as well as hope. I left very angry, especially after seeing a very nice shoulder specialist in the same office

Dr. Kummer is affiliated with Steadman-Hawkins of Denver, the group that rebuilt my shoulder two years ago. So when I broke my hand I naturally went back to the same group and met Dr. Kummer. She's been nothing short of great, from wait times to straight-up honest evaluations, to include giving me the worst case scenario should I continue the active lifestyle that seems to keep me coming back to the doctor's office for more treatment. There are a lot of choices out there, so consider using the services of a group of highly qualified physicians who regularly treat world class athletes that make a living through their sport, and weekend warriors like me.
