Dr. Jennifer Anne Lafontant, MD

Dr.lafontant should be fired. She gave me all types of medicine when it was not needed, she excused what was really going with me and prescribed me things I didn’t need, if I didn’t take it upon myself to get a second opinion god knows what would of happened.

This is the worst experience I have ever had. This office is very unprofessional. I went in for an appointment I scheduled online. I wish I would have read the reviews. As soon as I came in the front desk the receptionist (Hispanic I didn’t cat her name) started cursing saying how they were closed I expressed that I had an 11:30 appointment she spoke with the doctor. the Dr said she would see me. As I am filling out my paper work I was having an issue looking for my insurance card. All I kept on hearing was the receptionist saying f****ing this, I want to leave early, every time she received a phone call she kept was cursing prior to picking it up. I honestly felt bad for the other younger receptionist, the older one should be setting an example for someone younger in the field. The younger (African American) receptionist was much more professional Cordele and I really felt bad for her she had to put up with the type of unprofessionalism. I must say that after seeing the doctor come… out trying to rush a patient and telling her that she should hurry up and give her what she had to give her because she had to leave I decided to take my paperwork and just leave. I myself work for a hospital and I would never treat my patients or anyone with that kind of disrespect. I was not asking for a donation or asking for a freebie I was paying with an insurance that I pay monthly for and that they get pretty good payments for the service rendered. I am glad I didn’t get any services because reading the previous reviews I won’t Want to put my Health in the hands of the so-called healthcare professionals.

My appt was for 830am it is now 11:15 am and I am still waiting to be seen ,it’s horrible but dr was ok

Everytime I come for an appointment I have hopes in having a better experience. The doctor is very brief once being seen. Be prepared to rake a full day off for a 30 min appointment. Half you day will be spent waiting just to see the doctor. She is money hungry and over books patients with no concern of their daily schedules. The staff is very unprofessional and are loud.

first time as a patient i had to wait 5 hours. the doctor came in, examined me and said she was running all sorts of test but didnt explain for what. she told me I had to come back 2 weeks later for results. when I went back for my results I had to wait 3 hours to be given my results by the nurse practitioner and not the doctor herself.

I have seen her for 10 years now. Granted the wait time is horrible, but it's worth the wait. She gave me options with dealing with my medical condition. She's patient and takes the time to explain the procedure to be done.

The worst place I have ever been too. The Dr. does not explain any thing to you, does all kinds of blood test never tells u why n then u end up with a crazy bill.As far as the front desk there no better. The place is dirty n I don't recomme any one to go there

The wait is not to bad and Dr lafontant is good gun doctor

Prepare to wait all day. They're always Triple booked and Dr L is always late. She's a great Dr but the office experience is absolutely terrible and has been for years.

One of the worst experience I've ever had. I will never ever go back. 1st visit I wait 4 hours to be seen I got in at 1130am and wasn't seen until 3pm. The 2nd time I had a appt. Waited over 5 hours to see the dr. Got to the office 10am. So many people in the waiting room went crazy. They had been waiting since 9am and haven't been seen still since 3pm
